  • Damn, listen to the crowd as soon as the sound of glass shattering hits....I miss the old days.

  • i stayed up late too man, tink channel 4 wer showing it, then straight ta school after, fuckin well worth it tho!!! an maith!!

  • i stayed up until 5 in the morning in ireland to watch this, then off to school at 7:30...and i was not complaining!

i was cheering this in my living room.

nowadays, i will just about turn the channel to watch cena and those other losers

  • HHH would never take chair shots like that for ANYONE anymore

  • Do any of you guys remember that feeling you got when Sunday night heat came on before a PPV during the attitude era. Wasn't that shit great! I got that feeling watching this video

  • Yay, Stone Cold comes back to kick some old fart McMahon ass!

  • damn that arena was bigger than wrestlemania and thats just back lash

  • biggest pop ever

  • oh man just like so many people here i miss the old days, i remember when i first heard the tell tale glash shatter of austins entrance, i exploded just like the crowd did!!! great times

  • 0:36 HUGE CROWD EXPLOSION

  • i miss the wwf

    now thy dont do good

  • wow....watta crowd...real wwf fans

the fans these days are stupid lil fucking kids wearing rey mysterio masks and 40 year old widows cheering for all the wrestlers that are good looking.....wwe is fucking sad these days

    LONG LIVE WWF ATTITUDE ERA

  • man i remember these days ... wwe will never be the same again Historic moment right here

just wish the fans would get live like this

    but great vid 10/10

  • when you hear the glass breaks, you know there is going to be hell to pay. the rock and stone cold my 2 favorites. the crowd doesn't get hyped like this anymore.

  • No shit. Sports Entertainment, particularly the WWE today is nothing compared to how good it was back then before 2002.

  • Great moment but the sounds way too low...fix it.

  • i miss the old days where the crowd errupted like that when stone cold came out.seriously

dont see that in now ever

  • Interesting. If John Cena was around in those days, as a main event face, reckon he would get massive erruptions from the crowd?

I'd think so. Todays live fans suck.

  • i miss the old days

  • damn i remember watching this .. i begged my parents to buy the ppv so i could see stone cold return .. wwe sucks monkey dick now

  • its gonna get better, ratings are going down and its recieving compitition from other companies so it has to!

  • I think watching this video is a key example of what wwe needs to do again. triple h was a great heel and people hated him and when rock finally beat him created a huge pop. They need to create a monster heel and have him screw over the major babyface at the time and create a build up to let the fans explode when the heel finally loses.

  • Exactly. Triple H would hold the title for so long and keep retaining it by the face getting screwed time and time again. Then when the face won, it was AMAZING. Triple H was the best heal ever back in the day. Perfect character.

  • After the crappy ending at WrestleMania 2000, the fans were definitely happy to see Helmsley finally go down.

  • The Rock didn't drink much of that beer, you see that, spit spit spit, climb the rope spit look around spit the rest out.

  • that was wrestling, i miss those days, it just does'nt feel the same

  • I cant believe he towed that beat up bus to the ring. Funny stuff, I wish WWE would come back to this era. But the Cena era just sux compared to this.

  • i agree with MITCHISTHENAME696969...this was the greatest match ever...when the rock gave triple h that spinebuster...that was sooo electrifying and exiting ...i miss vintage wwf.

  • 2000 rocked

  • This when AUSTIN started to FAT!

  • Only because he had had his neck surgery and wasn't back in shape yet. You can really tell when he's leaving and he turns to look back at Linda and back at the ring how he still can't turn his neck properly

  • He was still recovering from back surgery that's why he was fat.

  • this makes me wonder how long did it take him to take it out of the arena

  • i think this was the greatest match ever

agree or disagree? which one was better?

  • Disagree. Definitely a great match made even better by the way they did the ending but Michaels/Angle at Wrestlemania, Angle/Benoit at the Rumble and the classic Flair/Steamboat matches were all better pure matches in my opinion. Always helps to have a hot crowd to add to the matches as well

  • this is why wwe sucks now.. these kind of matches and scrips no longer exist.

  • This was my first ever WWE pay per view I watched.....WCW was my Promotion when I was a kid but this was on Channel 4 in Ireland,it didn't finish till 5 in the morning,After this I watched them both!

  • i miss when it was like that i remember watching that and i came up off the couch i was so excited

  • the year 2000 had one of the best storylines and ppv

  • this is so sweet

  • this was hilarious

quite honestly the SINGLE most hilarious thing ever.JR's marking out.Stone Cold creaming everyone with a chair. Linda McMahons fingerpoke of doom style push to Steph

    Classic stuff.

  • I REALLY wish that chair shot was louder when Austin gave them. God this PPV was awesome.

  • became the WWF champion, WWE is utter shite they should get rid of it or seriously consider getting some real characters

  • the fans went fuking crazy when austin came out

  • That night, The Rock became the WWE Champion for the 4th time. I remember so well.

  • This should have been Wrestlemania 16.

    Amazing night.

  • the rock was slated for his apparent lack of wrestling ability at times, but tell me you have seen a spine buster better than that and ill call you a liar

  • This is my all time favorite match.

  • am i the only one that thinks the wwe championship belt they have now is flat out humiliating?

  • totally agree with you there :)

  • 1:04! Shane got Owned! lol =D

  • whichever booker thought of this should be paid more than bill gates

  • it would be tight if it was sone cold vs triple h vs the rock for the wwf title

  • I wish this was the main event for WrestleMania 2000.

  • man back in the days of austin and rock every ppv was like wrestlemania, nowadays its all cena shit and batista... cena and batista made me hate wwe.

  • FINALLY rock wins the title for the first time as a mega face.

  • why are all the good people gone?!

these were the days no doubt about it

  • Do you hear those fans!?!?! That place was mad, you never hear anything like that nowadays

  • 1:27 I love JR

  • actually stone cold got the biggest pops ever more than neone the biggest one was on raw when drove the zamboni into the arena

  • im a fan for 22yrs and i remember everything started watching it since i was 6 and from 1991-2002 were the best yrs thats when taker showed up razor sid everyman man

  • Biggest Pop ever for Austin

  • i remember watching this match at home...

    i miss these days! D:

  • one of the best PPV'S ever.

this match had so much hype and it definitely lived up to it.

  • that place went craaaazy when austin's music hit

  • man i miss these days.

  • These days are awesome..every PPV looks like wrestlemania..You wont be able to see the people and the commentators crazy as hell anymore

  • hey guys, I´m from Germany and a fan of your WWE. I miss the time, when THE ROCK wrestle vs. Stone Cold and the other, he was the best.

So now, I search for a picture, like 4:34 in this Video, to make it big like reality, its my dream to have a poster from the rock - when he raise up the titel - in my room. Please help my an tell me, when you have a picture like 4:34, thank you. geeetz from germany to the other wwe-fans!

  • i remember stayin up till 5am to watch this! some one pls upload this whole match! the whole pay per view was amazin!

  • That was ledge!!!!

  • I've been looking for this for ages.thnx.

  • Oh my god what a fuckin pop!!!!

  • I still say that Triple H's return in 2002 was the biggest pop ever.

  • Nah when Stone Cold came back to beat the alliance, that was the loudest you will ever hear a crowd. You couldn't even hear his music.

  • na metzdawg was right the loudest pop was probably triple h's return 2002 it was really loud really long it was a sustained roar that lasted a long time. the pop you mentioned was not even close to being Stone Cold's loudest

  • What about Hogan's in Montreal? Either time

  • i wonder how austin feels when the crowd cheers for him

  • mannnnnn the crowd was goin CRAZY! one of the greatest moments in wwf history. there's no excitement like this anymore in the wwe :/

  • not even with hogan or stone cold fans dont know the attudie ara cuz there all kids v.v

  • cool! Nice quality dude. I remember watching this when I was in 2nd grade in the living room of my dad's apartment and let me tell ya, it was hectic. My dad hated wrestling because of its fakeness and bad influence, but even he thought this was put together well by Vince. WWE was the best back in the days when it was known as WWF, there's no talent these days. People used to get outraged when the refs wouldn't count, literally outraged, now the fans are out of tune and uncaring. Back in the days

  • wtf no stunner!!

anyway the 2 biggest legends the WWF (WWE) had brought forth... man i hope these 2 men can go 1 on 1 on Wrestlemania 25 for the last time, before being inducted as Hall of Famers!

  • austin was just back from injury he wasn able to do the stunner

  • RIP wwf attitude

  • gimme a hell yeah

  • The only good backlash

  • WOW look at that crowd when austins music hits dammmm

  • yeah and that's probably why cena and batista will never be on the same level as Rock or Austin. Nowadays people are actually disliking cena and batisa and instead cheering for orton. I think he is a bad heel, Edge's way better in my mind.

  • true and orton actually likes being a heel and never wants to be a face again

    said it in the interview

  • o....m....g ive seen this b4 and austin is my fav wrestler of all time but just this match alone made the crowd literally riot in cheers wrestling now is nothing not even close to this wwe needs to know where it came from this gave me goosebumps i barely get that feeling in wrestling anymore its a shame no wonder ratings suck lately cuz theres nothing like this anymore

  • lmaoo the refs taking chairs to the head, i miss those days

  • 00:39 and 00:43 jerry screams lol commentating legend

  • haha, this is too good. Stone Cold, and The Rock.

  • Austin, the greatest one man wrecking ball in wrestling history!

  • poris5 that's just because cena and batista are respecting pretty much every wrestler in the locker room unlike rock and stone cold

  • Wrong in two ways. Cena and Batista don't cause problems backstage, sure. But Rock and Austin were seen as locker room leaders, and perhaps two of the most talented guys ever. In the ring, on the stick, in the back. All-around better. Not openly trying to insult Cena or Bats, they're just not as well rounded as Austin/Rock.

  • well said

  • ill say it once and ill say it again cena and batista will never ever get such a pop

  • AUSTIN!!! AUSTIN!!! AUSTIN!!!

  • with the high quality of this video, you can really see how wild the crowd gets for austin's return and the rock's victory.

  • damn youll never hear a reaction like this wrestling sucks now

  • I'll definitely second that.

  • You are SO right

  • stone cold, the rock, linda mcmahon and earl hebner all rule

  • if you think that was THE BEST STONE COLD ASS WHIPPING EVER, GIVE ME A HELL YEAH

  • Stone Cold and The Rock=GREATEST

  • best video ever

  • AUSTIN! AUSTIN! AUSTIN!

  • if you think 3 superstars(austin, rock, hhh)on this video is the best wrestler, give me a hell yeah!!..

  • Thx so much for posting this. A top 5 moment for sure

  • Does anyone know if there is a video back in like 99 or 00 where linda mcmahon makes Stone Cold the new General Manager or something like that and the next week stone cold is at wwf headquarters dumping poop all over the office.

  • She made him CEO. Check out the file "Relive Stone Cold Steve Austin Vol.18" first, then watch Vol.11 (which is in 2 parts). All 3 files are from the user OhHellYeah92.

  • Lmao! CEO!!! i was close! thankz for the reply.

  • Legend!!

  • Give me tingles down my spine.

  • Thanks for posting this, I've been looking for it forever.

  • I Am an ECW Man But Still I Will Never Forget This Moment In The WWE, I Think This Is The Best WWE Moment Ever, Stone Cold Steve Austin is the Bast WWE Wrestler Ever.

  • a classic!

  • God I remember this. After I quit marking out. I asked my if that was the most people Austin had ever hit with a chair.

  • thx 4 posting

  • Austin's pop was insane when he came out.

  • Probably one of my biggest mark out moments of all-time.
