Do any of you guys remember that feeling you got when Sunday night heat came on before a PPV during the attitude era. Wasn't that shit great! I got that feeling watching this video
oh man just like so many people here i miss the old days, i remember when i first heard the tell tale glash shatter of austins entrance, i exploded just like the crowd did!!! great times
the fans these days are stupid lil fucking kids wearing rey mysterio masks and 40 year old widows cheering for all the wrestlers that are good looking.....wwe is fucking sad these days
when you hear the glass breaks, you know there is going to be hell to pay. the rock and stone cold my 2 favorites. the crowd doesn't get hyped like this anymore.
I think watching this video is a key example of what wwe needs to do again. triple h was a great heel and people hated him and when rock finally beat him created a huge pop. They need to create a monster heel and have him screw over the major babyface at the time and create a build up to let the fans explode when the heel finally loses.
Exactly. Triple H would hold the title for so long and keep retaining it by the face getting screwed time and time again. Then when the face won, it was AMAZING. Triple H was the best heal ever back in the day. Perfect character.
I cant believe he towed that beat up bus to the ring. Funny stuff, I wish WWE would come back to this era. But the Cena era just sux compared to this.
i agree with MITCHISTHENAME696969...this was the greatest match ever...when the rock gave triple h that spinebuster...that was sooo electrifying and exiting ...i miss vintage wwf.
Only because he had had his neck surgery and wasn't back in shape yet. You can really tell when he's leaving and he turns to look back at Linda and back at the ring how he still can't turn his neck properly
Disagree. Definitely a great match made even better by the way they did the ending but Michaels/Angle at Wrestlemania, Angle/Benoit at the Rumble and the classic Flair/Steamboat matches were all better pure matches in my opinion. Always helps to have a hot crowd to add to the matches as well
This was my first ever WWE pay per view I watched.....WCW was my Promotion when I was a kid but this was on Channel 4 in Ireland,it didn't finish till 5 in the morning,After this I watched them both!
quite honestly the SINGLE most hilarious thing ever.JR's marking out.Stone Cold creaming everyone with a chair. Linda McMahons fingerpoke of doom style push to Steph
the rock was slated for his apparent lack of wrestling ability at times, but tell me you have seen a spine buster better than that and ill call you a liar
im a fan for 22yrs and i remember everything started watching it since i was 6 and from 1991-2002 were the best yrs thats when taker showed up razor sid everyman man
hey guys, I´m from Germany and a fan of your WWE. I miss the time, when THE ROCK wrestle vs. Stone Cold and the other, he was the best.
So now, I search for a picture, like 4:34 in this Video, to make it big like reality, its my dream to have a poster from the rock - when he raise up the titel - in my room. Please help my an tell me, when you have a picture like 4:34, thank you. geeetz from germany to the other wwe-fans!
na metzdawg was right the loudest pop was probably triple h's return 2002 it was really loud really long it was a sustained roar that lasted a long time. the pop you mentioned was not even close to being Stone Cold's loudest
cool! Nice quality dude. I remember watching this when I was in 2nd grade in the living room of my dad's apartment and let me tell ya, it was hectic. My dad hated wrestling because of its fakeness and bad influence, but even he thought this was put together well by Vince. WWE was the best back in the days when it was known as WWF, there's no talent these days. People used to get outraged when the refs wouldn't count, literally outraged, now the fans are out of tune and uncaring. Back in the days
anyway the 2 biggest legends the WWF (WWE) had brought forth... man i hope these 2 men can go 1 on 1 on Wrestlemania 25 for the last time, before being inducted as Hall of Famers!
yeah and that's probably why cena and batista will never be on the same level as Rock or Austin. Nowadays people are actually disliking cena and batisa and instead cheering for orton. I think he is a bad heel, Edge's way better in my mind.
o....m....g ive seen this b4 and austin is my fav wrestler of all time but just this match alone made the crowd literally riot in cheers wrestling now is nothing not even close to this wwe needs to know where it came from this gave me goosebumps i barely get that feeling in wrestling anymore its a shame no wonder ratings suck lately cuz theres nothing like this anymore
uno de los momentos mas increibles y emocionantes que he visto en la wwe, lo mejor de esos años el 2000 y 2001 es q no sabia lo q iba a pasar, fue increible cuando regrso sotne cold y gano la roca el titulop de la wwe, bravasoo
Wrong in two ways. Cena and Batista don't cause problems backstage, sure. But Rock and Austin were seen as locker room leaders, and perhaps two of the most talented guys ever. In the ring, on the stick, in the back. All-around better. Not openly trying to insult Cena or Bats, they're just not as well rounded as Austin/Rock.
Does anyone know if there is a video back in like 99 or 00 where linda mcmahon makes Stone Cold the new General Manager or something like that and the next week stone cold is at wwf headquarters dumping poop all over the office.
She made him CEO. Check out the file "Relive Stone Cold Steve Austin Vol.18" first, then watch Vol.11 (which is in 2 parts). All 3 files are from the user OhHellYeah92.
I Am an ECW Man But Still I Will Never Forget This Moment In The WWE, I Think This Is The Best WWE Moment Ever, Stone Cold Steve Austin is the Bast WWE Wrestler Ever.
