  • look at everything he is talking about here, this was 2 years ago. And we are now speeding our way into the dangers he saw coming - only faster.

  • Huckabee is a fascist?

    I don't think I could "Heil!" a Huckabee.

    haha

  • I agree that Tim attacked Paul through out the entire interview. Let's see what he says about Barack.

  • every single question was an attack. Russert hadn't got his french fry fix yet.

  • All respect to Tim Russert's family, I won't say mean things about him but, during this interview he was very mean and unfair to Doctor Paul.

  • Are you kidding me? "Ron Paul undergoes a barrage of attack questions on Meet the Press with Tim Russert but of course handles himself well."

You Ron Paul people are a bunch of crybabies. "Neocon" this and "neocon" that. Give me a break.

  • you are clueless, do some reasearch or dont make your terrible uneducated opinions public

  • Learn how to spell and we'll talk.

  • thats what 9/11 truthers say all the time too. "Don't believe ME! Do the research!"

  • I think he got what he got and came through with flying colors. Tim Russert should have gone hard on Ron Paul (which he should have done that to all candidates, but didn't) and most people that support Dr. Paul don't complain because of this, we knew this was going to be a big battle going into it. How else do you legitimize your message but through the face of criticism. The truth of the matter is people are just not ready for the level of personal responsibility that his philosophy espouses!

  • Paul's view on the Civil War proves just how much of a nutty little man he is.

  • 3:25 1/2 3:26 "I MEAN WHATS A DEVIL?"

  • Damn that was a good interview. Should have gotten up earlier on Saturday, you the man Tim! RIP

  • im glad Tim is dead, guys a faggot

  • daddy didn't give you a hug as a kid?

  • Bush is a Bum. Isnt ROn Paul right. He saw this 6-7 years before the public. BUsh is a BUm. Couldnt have said it better.

  • if you study history, you'll realize ron is so right on everything he is being asked....state's rights was the intent of this country's founding and it has been so neglected...now states have very few prerogatives and states today have been turned into mini imperial nations like their superior, the federal government

  • I am so sick and tired of this barrage of BS question tactics of Russert, Hannity and Limbaugh. They ask a question, if it sounds like they aren't getting the answer they want; they ask a barrage of questions not allowing the person to answer. Why can't they just interview people instead of trying some BS like this.

  • please don't compare russert to hannity and limbaugh. Russert states his question and allows his guest to make a complete response. And he has sources for his questions too. He treats his guests with more respect then hannity and limbaugh

  • Ron Paul is the man! Now its time for the campaign for liberty!

  • it's too bad that america's citizens are so busy concerning themselves with the subterfuge of global warming as their constitutional rights and freedoms hang in the balance. just as it is too bad that the average american has no idea that people like tim russert are working for the global elite fascists who are planning the end of our sovereignty. ron paul is a brilliant man of integrity. america needs to become educated on the CFR, the NAU/SPP, the FEDERAL RESERVE and NWO... wise up people.

  • This is pretty nice. This reporter is hitting all the issues and fleshing out Ron Paul for the viewing public. It is a very nice turn from regular American media. As a Canadian I find this type of reporting refreshing and invigorating.

  • Whoa... Ron Paul totally PWNed in this one.

  • What are you talking about? Reagan WAS a failure in every sense of the word other than advocating tax cuts.

  • CLEARLY Reagan was either a fascist himself or a tool of the fascist NEOCONS. Ron Paul is RIGHT, right wing politicians USE the same tactics as HITLER and MUSSOLINI use to gather power. LIES, FEAR and DECEPTION. IKE was right about the Military-Industrialist complex and BUSH, CHENEY, REAGAN and the rest are most definitely part of that push for totalitarian dictatorship which is...UNAMERICAN. Google Smedley Butler for a good dose of the truth about such people and how they work.

  • um...no, I didn't know that.

  • "be safe on the campaign trail?" is that a hint? should we be worries for Dr. Paul's safety?

  • No, but we shoulda been worried for Russert apparently...

  • you are dumb retarded imbecile

  • YOU need to KNOW... If RON PAUL Does NOT win the PRIMARY the Race is OVER for RP

vote in the PRIMARY Let freedom ring!

vote in the PRIMARY Ron Paul has my vote!

    vote in the PRIMARY

  • Ok, I'm now more impressed with Paul from before. His criticism of Reagan is spot on, I was wondering what his comment was on how Reagan increased the deficit and his unscathing attack proves his principles.

Paul always has a good answer for the toughest questions and he has good answers for the complex and sometimes seemingly contradictory stances he might appear to hold.

  • For what record? Check your facts Tim, before you take sides. Also lets see when you ask Clinton if she will run as a third party, since she was a Republican once.

  • Paul never backs down, and is never fluttered. Even when he seems to be cornered he comes out with a brilliant answer. I'm black and loved what he said about Lincoln and slavery. We need Paul. He calls a spade (Bush, Reagan) a spade.

  • He has "brilliant" answers because they're all grounded in truth. Likewise he very rarely wavers so...

  • Amen Bluesnaggs! Amen

  • "Fascism-wrapped in a flag, carrying a cross." Amen! We don't need Huckabee, we need Ron Paul for this time.

  • PAUL FOR PRESIDENT-HE HAS MY VOTE! I like his verve and tact, this country needs him.

    Go Dr. Paul!

  • BRILLIANT!

ron paul sticks and moves and leaves russert battr'd an' bruis'd

  • This interviewer is pathetic. Every sentence is manipulation, every response is overran with the "next question". Nit picking bastard. I would like to see him interview another candidate. There would be massive differences. In true journalist form, he is a bully when things come that he doesnt like. so weak and so sad.

  • Nah the interviewer is just doing his job asking the difficult questions. It's tough questioning like that that truly gives Paul the chance to shine.

  • I agree with you but the average mind doesnt realize that and that is what is scary.

    Ron Paul 08'

  • Bush is a Bum!! Thats the best describtion of him I ever heard.

  • I think this guy asked him the harder questions and Ron Paul did great. You go Ron Paul!

  • You wish...Ron Paul owned that guy,

  • wtf?!?!?!?!?

  • Google: The Underlying Politics of 9/11

  • When Russert said " Be careful on the campaign trail."

    My blood ran cold.

Russert is the shill that let Bush and Kerry laugh off their life and death oath to Skull & Bones.

    Those associations must be disclosed!

    Google: Bohemian Grove.

Google The Bilgerberg group. The Press must be present at these functions! These people have Our lives and Our LIBERTY in their hands!

The fourth Estate of Our Republic ( The Press) must DO IT'S JOB!

  • Amen brother!

  • Ron Paul rocks!

  • Watch my video EXPOSING BILL KRISTOL THE SCUMBAG who called Ron Paul Anti-American !!!

    just by clicking my name!

Kristol who never served in the US army and works for foreign Israeli secret organizations has the nerve to call a Vietnam veteran and a 10-term US congressman anti-American

  • Ha! hes done better against Tim than almost anyone ever has!

  • Supporters, spread the word about the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR)

  • wow after watching that im amazed how well ron handled himself, i would have cut his head off ^_^ and finished it with a smile and a peace sign.... but i cant believe he got to say anything about corperate america and its strangle hold on this country without getting his own head removed on live TV or atleast muting his mic lol

  • I am a Ron Paul supporter. That said, to call these "attack questions" misses the point. How a potential President handles themselves when provoked is importantly revealing, and is to be expected of all our candidates. Foreign leaders are just as apt to provoke.

  • Come on girls, Russert's question in Part 1 went on for 3 minutes of quotes from every newspaper in the country. How is Paul supposed to answer that? And don't they all love to ask him if he'll run as an independent? Who cares? Russert has heard him give the same answer time and again but still felt it was an important question. How dull.

  • well fuck, this guy is going to get screwed by the electronic voting machines or assinated by a crazy guy.

  • they're asking paul about stuff he said in the 1980's???

  • Why did Tim say at the very end, "Be safe on the campaign trail?"

  • cuz he wants to get him back for making him look stupid about sinclair not saying what he said

  • When Ron Paul talks about corporatism as a form of fascism that our country is rapidly moving towards, the corporate-owned, corporate-sponsored media has to defend themselves. It's only natural. It's just unfortunate that so many people still take the news at face value with some kind of assumption that interviewers like this are just normal people asking about what's interesting and/or important. They have to ask the right kind of questions. If you don't make the boss happy, you get fired.

  • Dr. Paul is just brilliant. He could literally restore America's constitutional routes and fix the economy. I hope it's not too late. I wish everyone treated their citizenship like a profession so everyone could vote for this man.

  • To Ron Paul...

OMG...I love you AND all that you stand for and represent.

Finally, a leader who cares about us....

What other candidate can have 12yr.-70yrs. and older contribute to a campaign in astronomical records? RON PAUL that's who...

    (My comments are continued below....)

  • Wow, I disagree with more of what he says than I thought.

  • (G:) Freedom to Fascism; "Timeline of the Rothschilds" by Darryl Bradford Smith; "The Money Masters" from 1996; and "War is a Racket" by Maj Gen Smedley Darlington Butler, Commandant of the US Marines ca. 1930's. Lastly, "Project Northwoods( Aztlan is the most legible) Joint Chiefs of Staff" by Adm Lemnitzer, declassified document.

Pay close attention to pg. 13. Learn the facts about what we are up against.

  • Seen 'em.

  • You mean 'read them'? Only two of the items were films...

  • The point?

  • Seriously, if you've visited and went through the material well,

you'd know why so many people who have reviewed RP's record and platform have chosen an honest man with priciples, integrity, and the best policies. All the other leading candidates, excepting Gravel and Kucinich, are connected to the CFR and 'the Int'l Bankers' that run our Gov't.

If you see the danger in not getting RP in office, there's nothing to discuss.

  • Agreed on many points and up until now (over a year) I have been gung-ho for Dr. Paul. Unfortunately he said some things in this interview which I'm strongly against.

  • Sound bites never explain a position fully, particularly when

it challenges the accepted 'ala mode'.There is usually a much different picture when a policy is scrutinized against the Constitution and the philosophy of the Founding Fathers that generated the logical conclusion and their view.

It might help if you were specific.

  • This interview is not sound bites. Anyway, examples are his desire to amend the 14the and he only wants to decrease spending but gives no examples of how to generate capital for our country. In a way, I'm sad I saw this 'cause I really believed in him.

  • Through Federal Taxation and the IRS, we subsidize

the Int;l Mega Corps which use 'our money' to further their fascism. We fill the pockets of the Bankers for 'Interest' we pay in allowing a Communistic Entity to Print our currency. We work 192 days out of the year to fund these Bankers. As a result, our Labor is 'so expensive' our jobs are going to 'outsourcing'. Our capital would be better distributed, if we returned to printing our own currency.

  • I'm against our current fiat monetary system and for the gold standard. I'm for decreasing spending and eliminating and or decreasing some agencies. Unfortunately when asked Paul gave no ideas of how to generate capital. Also, I'm against cooperate welfare and monopolies.

  • When RP speaks of liberty and freedom, the point here is we don't need DC and corporate cronyism to suppress how we choose to invest our money.

If you look up Dr Leslie Case, PhD, and catalytic fusion for instance, you'll find that Cold fusion is real, and has been since the late 1980's. Big Oil has us by the throat.

  • Yea and he sounded so good at first. Don't know why I didn't see it at first.

  • Don't worry my fellow patriot this was only an attempt to smear the congressman from begining to end. And it must have succeded if you are no longer a believer. Do you think he could sum up his policy in 20 seconds of response time? His stances like the others are mainly ideas only to be followed by policy after he's given the ability to assert those ideas as such.

  • I'm not closed to him now...but he better let me know what he means before I cast.

  • Also, pick up the book "The End of America" by Naomi Wolf. Extremely informative material on the shift toward facism in dictatorships around the world, and how those steps are being employed in America.

  • Russert has proven himself to be a PROPAGANDIST with this so called "interview".

Dr. Paul divorced himself from Reagan's Administration because of Bush 41's CIA drug cabal which financed the Iran and Iraq war (Iran/Contra) and established a secret government ( REX 41).

Read Joseph Trento's PRELUDE TO TERROR.

" Be safe on the campaign trail"

God protect and save Ron Paul. ...and America.

  • I notice that instead of having a respectable interview with Mr. Paul, all they seem to be doing is digging up old quotes and stats and trying to make it seem liek he's contradicting himself. What matters is the message and policies he's promoting NOW. I don't see them doing this sort of digging to try and make the OTHER candidates look bad.

  • Agree. This is just the begginning of their effort against him. It's gonna get ugly. But that's good, it means he scares them.

  • Weak minded? Don't you get it? The dollar is crashing because the currency has been artificially overinflated by the Fed. If someone doesn't stop it, it's gonna make the crash of 1929 look like a good time. He's the ONLY one on either side who even wants to stop it, and the only one talking about it.

  • thats because Ron Paul is a hypocrite.

  • It's funny what the media will do when their scared. It's becoming so obvious it's not even funny.

  • yes, the media is scared of a Vagina Doctor who only has 8% of the Republican vote. Yes that makes perfect sense. viva la vagina revolucion. Viva el louco vagina doctor!! viva!!

  • I see you have put a lot of effort into discrediting Dr. Paul. The only problem is he is telling the truth and you are to ignorant to care.

  • Tim Russert was a sleaze bag, is a sleaze bag and will be a sleaze bag. A big part of the USA's problems is the fact that they have such people in key media positions. If Paul becomes a real threat, this is just a taste of the garbage that will be tossed at him. Whether you trust him or not, Paul's stated policies represent a threat to much of the status quo. That kind of money will not fight hard and mean to maintain itself.

  • Very well stated.

  • Tim Russert's "performance" was surprising, and a big let down. His attitude was just short of scorn towards RP.

We should all let him know we know how biased with prefacing innuendo his prepared "Questions" were.

    What a CFR shill.

  • (G:)" Timeline of the Rothschilds" by Darryl Bradford Smith.

"War Is A Racket" by Maj Gen Smedley Darlington Butler, Commandant of the US Marines ca. 1930's, and the "The Northwoods Project" Joint Chiefs of Staff (Aztlan is the most legible) read the Declassified Document by Adm Lemnitzer.

Then watch 1996 film "The Money Masters" to find out what this country is facing.

  • Gees, that was a tough interview.

  • Russert cut off the part where Ron says " i dont know if thats a fair assesment or not "

right after Ron says the lewis quote

    weak
