When i tried, safeLinux, i used your wordlist in the description. i used it on a wpa2 encrypted network, and when i used aircrack-ng, i could see that i got around 1000 k/s . after 10 minutes it was still not cracked, and 670k keys tested. how did u cracked yours so fast in the video? the wpa2 key i was cracking consisted of 8 numbers.
@batcut If you have 8 numbers you have to try (in worst case) 10^8 keys. At 1000 keys per second, you will have to wait in a realistic scenario 1 day 3 hours 46 minutes 40 seconds (in worst case) until the key is found.
When I write command: 3)airodump-ng mon0 then will search the network and don´t stop for four seconds as the manual, but it still continues even for an hour.
hello friend I have a problem all right but I get when I put qui aircrack-ng-w (dictinoary directory) (handshake directory) if lapantaya missal but then pays me di lordenador just before the clavi please qui qui haser I have thanks
I can never get a handshake do you know why this could be? I am doing everything right and it says 27|27 ACKs. I dont know why I cannot get a handshake.
I still get a "passphrase not in dictionary" error. I don't know my the passphrase for my netowrk, someone else installed the router for my house. Can anybody help?

I am booting backtrack 5 from a dvd and i have a 13gb wordlist .txt file. i have no idea on how to locate the file in backtrack i looked everywhere please can someone help me. it wont show up on the backtrack dolphine file manager so im stuck. if someone can please help me out i know how to do it with a usb but i dont have one of that size please help me out please thanks. (:
@unbreakablefootage sorry but I don't know hot to help you, because I are not able to solve your problem with so less information... to explain my situation, here the most stupid answer I can think of: Turn on your screen... I think now you see why I'm not able to help you with the little information... :)
Thank you for making this video,I have backtrack installed as a dualboot so I don't use the live cd. Do I need the 64 million wordlist for this to work? If so, then how to add the wordlist in backtrack to make this work?
@safeLinux thanks and one last question, I have the wordlist and I am trying to find the place to put it in backtrack, so the terminal detects it without me having to always having to include the file in the terminal, so where should I have the wordlist placed for this to work? Once a again thanks and I subscribed. :)
How long does it typically take you to crack with aircrack-ng and the word-list you have in the link? I tried on a wpa network around me and its well over one hour now
@fallenspirit123 If you have luck and the key is short and simple, you need only a couple of hours, but if the key is strong you may have to wait over month or years...
