Great vid prasheel84. Im flying to Queenstown for the first time tomorrow. I cant wait. The place looks spectacular. The only approach i can think of that would have been more breath taking than that would be the approach into Kai Tak.
absolutely cool video. zqn is definitely one of the most beautyful and spectacular approaches in the world. we have made in 2002 with B733 from NZ the approach from the other side which is also very nice because it is necessary to turn around in the valley for 180°. then you touch almost the luge at skyline gondola with the wings...
i think my video of takeoff from ZQN is exactly the other way round! we takeoff in the opposite direction, then turned steeply right and exit the area after passing through the rigged mountain on 0:14! Just sad because i couldn't record the engine sound and the light isn't that excellent.

i love queenstown! its rare to see planes land this way, i've only ever landed the other way its awesome. great videooooo!
