  • Your animation on paper is fantastic.

  • i bet david quin was your animation tutor

  • yeah, he did 3D animation with us.

  • Beautiful, what is that program? Flash, After Effect????

  • Thats was awesome - short and sweet! Loving it, nice work

  • very cool..no bad words for you :3

  • Really lovely animation Louise. I was very impressed by the different styles and movement. :)

  • Nice work Louise, I'm working on my showreel video right now and this is a great example!

  • I like the colors and the simplicity of the images, very relaxing to watch. This is the kind of animation I like to watch. Keep up the good work. You have the creative edge, not just the technical.

  • Very nice work, I must say!

It's really nice to see hand made stuff. :)

    Keep up the good work!

  • very cute style!

I have my own animation showreel on my channel :)

  • Great works mate! Keep up the good work

  • hey great stuff i really like what ur've done

    create facial animation

    :)

  • Great work Louise!

I am a creative mister myself and now work in TV. I set up a private project we're creatives can expose their work online and get known to a larger audience. I really want to make this big since the internet needs something like this :)

No agency and no profits or anything. Just creatives for creatives. Get your youtube video on there and give it a try. You won't regret it ;) Just google on AXEPOSE. It looks like a 'grid'. Thanks for reading!

    Rene.

  • Really nice work, I love your style!

  • Looks really nice, i like the style of the first one. Is there a story? The one with the boat is also very nice. Congratulations

  • the first one is a clip from my graduate film which i finished in june 2007. thanks for the comment

  • Hey, i just watched your showreel in research for my own showreel i'm constructing. I was looking for the use of pacing in such a small time gap, and personally i think you've developed a really nice structure.

The work looks great, good luck with everything! :)

  • thank you! hope yours goes well too

  • verrrry nice (:

  • Hey.. Did you go to ballyfermot? Trying to figure out how to do freehand animation at home.. Was going to try to get a paper punch and use A4 office paper.. What ye recommend?

  • hey, i went to IADT in dun laoghaire. it could be a bit tricky to set pencil drawn animation up at home. but you sound like your on the right track. otherwise you could just use a 2d computer program like flash.

  • Ahh, yer sound.. Graphics tablets are a pain in the hole to animate with though.. I feel a lot more confortable with pencil an paper. Maybe use flash for cleanup, ToonBooms good too. Thanks alot

  • i think thats fantastic :D x x

  • thanks!

  • really great stuff. do you work for a company now or freelance? I need some advice in getting in the industry. Think I need to do a 3d course..

  • Thanks. I would advise doing an animation course as its the best way to learn. 3D is a good way to go as there's work available in it as well as flash work. I'm working in a studio at the moment on my own short film.

  • very very cool. i like-it-a-lot!

  • I really love your showreel :) you have some great work!

  • I really like it. You can certainly pass as a children's book illustrator too!

  • I typed 'showreel' and got this. I love your cartoons. Did you design them yourself?

  • yes, almost all i think...

  • wow beautiful work... you may be able to help me actually... well im a yr12 student doing my visual arts HSC and i want to create some sort of animation that looks good! but not near the skills as urs obviously... so whats the best route, programs, time and skills ill need to create something that is marvelous like yours. thanks please reply

  • lots of hard work :) make up a good story is important if your making a film. if your working on it yourself i would suggest using the program 'flash'. but there's endless possiblities out there!

  • Nice work, you better put in a car-chase or fight scene or ... you're gonna get typecast! Seriously tho' nice stuff, and you don't have to reply to everybody (!)

  • isnt it always the way :)

I know about the replying, but i feel its only polite. besides im only on this site about once a month. thanks though!

  • beautiful.
