My freind subs Kolb out for vick w/ the eagles and completes a pass to his TE every play. He wont even try a different play he just no huddles all the way through 4th down. It is a flaw within the computer. I pick Double the TE defenses and he still completes it. Even if his starting TE gets hurt he will still complete the pass to the backup even if the computer subbed in Head Coach Andy Reid he would still catch the pass every play. If the D line tips the pass us the only way to stop it.

wow that is fucked. Really takes the fun out of game when you know you can have 200+ receiving yards every game with a money play. Same thing would happen in previous NCAA Football games. Not sure what year it was but I would just run the TE Post route and he would average about 20 yards per catch every time. Computer would never change it coverage and that was against any and every team. Hopefully EA watches this vid and does something about that.

so i´ve tried it and yeah it works well with the rams in the 5th running season against some other teams!but in some games the cpu knows it after 3-4 plays in a row and now i have thrown 3 or 4 int´s with this tactic

p.s anyway i´m a really bad QB player^^ so it may could be that at some of the int´s that it was my fault because of my skills :D

Its not just the play...since madden 09 crossing routes are almost guaranteed success.  I like the PS2 versions better...more realistic. You can actually run the damn ball...

Those were the type of plays I used to do playing Madden. I always found those plays. Everytime I had an oppennet manual cover them I would wait than throw it ahead of the WR and I would still get it.

ye can i ask what you have the player skill setting at? you the cpu at 100 on everything, but if u have the player settings at 100 that wud explain something that baffled me. he caught the ball everytime, i mean throwing over the middle to a 60 overall reciever with an average catching stat and he doesnt drop 1 even when he get hits straight away nearly everytime??? ye sumthing doesnt add up

Computer mostly plays man-man. Any crossing route works on man-man.

Try it. Go to practice choose a 3 or 4 Wide reciever set. Have the Slot do a drag. Or a in route.

Just the way the game works. Not some magical play. Not only the falcons defense. The Computer rarely plays anything but man to man defense.

Well, bottomline, it's just A.I. It's not a thinking, reasoning, individual who can reason through you running the same play. Eventually you CAN and WILL find an exploit against the A.I. cause, well...IT'S NOT HUMAN! A REAL player would eventually adapt and probably make a play. You can't bash this game based on A.I. show me a 'money' play against a REAL PLAYER that they cannot stop and THEN I might give you props. Till then, you're just beating up on something that doesn't really THINK. Nahmean

Shotgun- Snugs Flip- WR Corners (Pats playbook, probably more) adjust the 2 inside recievers to run towards the sidelines. Unstoppable versus computer if you throw to strong side sideline (and about 99% of players online as long as they don't control the CB or have a CB covering the flats) Simple pick route and completely unstoppable if a high speed QB is being used because either a completed pass for 15+ yards or a 5+ yard rush by the QB.

I feel like this could be true for almost any drag or crossing route. The computer doesn't do so well with the routes that cross the field. I use weak flood out of the shotgun and the crossing pattern for that play works virtually every time.

this was actually my money play in NCAA09 . Gets between cover two safeties and above most second level zones and like he shoes if you have the speed and/or route running advantage then its usually a money play

Yea even on user vs user this play is almost unstoppable if they plan on useing two routes with it. say you manually stop davis the user will usually wait for his other route to open up because you can only manually stop 1 thing at a time because reciever spotlight is broken i mean mean the engine needs to be rewrote

you're absolutely right. with the tendency reading, you can just flip the ball to the opposite (if they cover the flat, you just throw across the middle) and so on and so forth. The computer will never be able to beat a human opponent that knows how to exploit the game.
