Joe Dallesandro did a great favor for me. When I was attending a southern university in the 70's, I saw "Trash" at the campus cinema. When I saw Joe naked, I thought, "That's what's been missing". I was 18 and naive and I had been raised in Tennessee. I transferred to an east coast school the following semester. Best decision of my life. Many thanks, "Little Joe".

My uncle met Joe on ther "Trash" tour and dated him for pretty much a full year. Joe was strung out on heroin and broke most of the time but he says that was one of the best times of his life. The Studio 54 parties were legendary, orgies in P'town and Boston were spoken of with a sly smile. Joe is married out in LA today and we all hope has found real happiness.
