Bernard, are the two low strings tuned to the same G, or is the low string a G an octave lower? Any tips on how to approach this song?
Thanks!

Your measures are asymetrical. It's supposed to be 4/4 timing.

Its called syncopation marvy, John Fahey used it all the time, did you ever hear of him?
2mMarco 2 years ago
I know what syncopation is... I'm talking about the beat counts per measure. They're all over the map.
@marvy1118 im curious to see yer attempt at a fahey tune. it is no easy feat.

One of Fahey's most haunting tunes - you've done a fine tribute to it here.

hey there-- really nice! i love all your fahey videos.
so, are you tuning the A down to g and then the E up to G? is that very stressful to the neck?

Thanks to your nice comment.
The bottom two strings are in
unison -- G-G-D-G-B-D.
You must used the bass string tuned to G in unison with the second string .
He actually plays it in F# on the record, so it's F#, F#, C#, F#, A#, C#. Which is a little less stressful on strings/neck.
