  • Lol it got longer

  • the longest bridge in the world became longer FTW lol~

  • jello is quake proof :D

  • International Space Station is completely, one hundred percent, earthquake proof.

  • thanks......awesome

  • I agree, and even though National Geographic thinks so I don't think that it is any where near iEARTHQUAKE! proof.

  • Sure is quake proof, it wont end up like what happened to the titanic being "The worlds unsinkable ship"

  • Brave workers, swinging like that.

  • never mind resistency, who the h3ll is going to go up there and change them bulbs?

  • Barack Obama made hitting F5 obsolete! Now we're stuck with these stoopid ads!

  • @rudypoodoo

    Obamas fault riiiiiiight.....

  • thanx god for saving our bridge cuz who needs 6000 asians

  • Thumbs up if that bald guy looks like the professor from x-men.

  • it kills over 6,000 people and destroys more than 100,000 building but luckily the f*cking bridge survives

    WTF???????????

  • is this bridge in uk

  • what are you retarded?

  • @IIHOWLEYII Did you even Watch the Video, The 6th or so word in the video, JAPAN... Does that sound even close to United Kingdom ? Hmm yh i guess so Granpa.

  • I hope the engineers who build this bridge can help the people of Chile to rebuild their bridges and make better structures.

  • tupe rio antirio bridge and see a bridge in greece which passes through a fault line and not strong sand and the deepest water!and then talk!!!!!!

  • 3D animation is great =D

  • ADS ARE RUINING YOUTUBE!

  • yeah, but it is keeping it FREE. which i dont mind.

  • get firefox with adblock..seriously.. helps alot

  • thanks hon. totally worked! couldnt figure it out before. i dl'd adblock plus.

  • lol thats not the only thing...

  • @Edwin1ed yup and youtube has gotten sooooo slow ..even the adds lag and has to buffer lol

  • @Edwin1ed

    GET ADBLOCK FOR GOOGLE CHROME!

  • @Edwin1ed would u rather pay for it urself

  • "what about the foundation of towers".Although the tower have wonderful defence machanism against quake but if the foundation of the tower on which tower itself supported by then the whole concept of defensive approch will be worthless. The foundation is reinforced concrete which is most fundamental in civil engineering and vulnerability of collapse is gr8 in thta case

  • LMAO How is this related to Quake 2? LOLLLL

  • lolololol

  • lol EX11390 them things are so old they make me luagh now

  • i thought hongkong got the the biggest and longest suspension bridge?

  • No, it's the longest Suspension bridge to carry rail traffic

  • and cars

  • it's brilliant. But honestly, how did they get those workers to get atop the towers to shake and test it? I wouldn't have.

  • That is one massive bridge compared to the Tacoma Narrows Bridge!!!!!!!

  • JAPANESEWHORE

You seem to be an anti-whaling person.

I think you should focus on critisising whaling, not just cursing Japanese.

Otherwise, you make not only yourself but other anti-whaling protesters look very pathetic.

    good luck

  • lol, agreed!

Nothing shows compasion towards animals by threatning humans and hoping people die. People are just generally stupid, I have to deal with the same thing here in Atlantic Canada with the seal hunt... The activists celebrated when 4 seal hunters died, sick people they are.

  • JAPENISWHORE, your tryna curse japan? LMAO!! i can tell your some 12 year old american fat kid with no life that never touched a girl. get a life, you fat fuck.. we the best, if you have balls, try curse yakuza infront of their face if you hate japan so much

  • That's one beautiful bridge!

  • that is why I am scared of going on bidges. I get Extremly scared when we drive on one they are cool looking but when we drive on one I am freeked out.

  • I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and always LOVED going over any of the bridges; Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, Dumbarton Bridge, San Mateo-Hayward Bridge and occasionally the Carquinez Bridge, Benicia-Martinez Bridge & Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. But I will confess, it took about a year after October 17, 1989, the Loma Prieta quake, to feel less jumpy! Now I am back to loving "my" bridges again!

  • great engineering feat!

  • crapppppp

  • BANKAI!

  • I would say earth quake resistant, no man made structure is earth quake proof.

  • Well, it depends on how high you put the limit for a realistic quake. Many could survive richters 8, 9, and even 10-12. Conversely, a richter 40 could topple even a mountain, but how often do those occur? Only during large impact events.

  • @1RadicalOne a M12 quake? impossible.the Richter scale only goes up to M10.0.

  • Wrong. The scale is open-ended, but there have never been ones recorded that exceed 10.

  • right. My mistake, thanks for correcting.

  • No problem.

And I apologize if I sounded like an ass in my reply.

  • @1RadicalOne no you didnt, but thanks for correcting me anyway :)

  • @yogastudent1963 - I agree.... they said Titanic was practically unsinkable....

  • awesome

  • Clara, have you called the police ?

  • lol, nice one!

  • bring it on bitch

  • well atleast you gave everyone a heads up you wanker. ill see you tonight

  • KOOOLo.o

  • i am from staten island and the bridge their is called the varrizano brindge

  • lol i no let hide on the bridge when a earthquake hits

  • lol cool video

  • and hopefully your house is the first target.

  • show me proof of this magnitude and your dignity will be redeemed

  • does anyone find it interesting that they don't say the length of the bridge? that's the first thing I'd say..

  • shhhh just look at it. so big

  • good shit.

  • i demand more mutherfuker stop trying to make me subscribe to foxtel u fukers, im just gonna download this shit anyway just fukin post it and stop being fags

  • they should do that to the Manhattan Bridge. if it's lost, it can seriously affect both road and subway traffic

  • because there are so many earthquakes in manhattan... fuckin idiot

  • well, earthquaks can and do happen in new york, fuckin idiot!

  • go to the History Channel. They have a show called "MegaDisasters" and one of the episodes talks about earthquakes in ny. they are not as strong as those in CA, which is why most people don't notice, but even a 5-6 magnitude quake can do some significant damage
