@7PlanBSkater7 To stop an incoming vehicle perhaps? The Coast Guard uses the BMG sniper rifle to stop boats all the time. Also, you could easily pulverize a cinderblock wall with a few BMG rounds.

@szyhere i have its a red dot not very effective at very far distances but at about 4oo maybe to 60 yards your good wit a red dot sigh made by eotech people put them on m14s alot now and days

@charlieiriarte umm for a fifty cal used by the military its prolly a berret or barret i dont know how to spell it but its something along thoose lines i really didnt pay attention but since the berret is the most popular 50 cal sniper rifle in us military thats what im claiming

police snipers aren't actually snipers... they're marksmen since they will never engage a target at over 800 meters

Interesting, in that one of my instructors in a recent class (SWAT Sniper) was running the table on a couple of Marines as the distance started to stretch out. As with every rule there are exceptions.

The majority of the long distance shots that are being taken are not in the 800 yard range (suffice it to say, they are much closer).

Delta Force > Navy Seals = Para rescue = Green Berets = MARSOC Marines = Rangers

Marine and army snipers are not a special ops branch, therefore you cant compare them to the Seals.

Delta Force selects the best from each branch and, under them, you can't say one special ops is better than the other. They are all specialized in different things and are all very good at what they do.

no matter how you look at it, marines are the best of the best. They are the first ones in the last ones out. "There is nothing more deadly than a marine and his rifle" just look at who the us has guarding its embassys across the world marines. look at the length of boot camp, marine core is longest by far. 13 weeks (some say 12 if you dont include the processing stage) the only other branch that even comes remotely close is the army which is a meger 9 weeks. im just pointing out the facts
