  • What language is this?? Chinese? I heard "difang" (meaning "province", right?) but then I didnt recognize anything else... or maybe that's just cuz I don't know Chinese (although I'm learning) x'D

  • my name is madison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is my favorite movie on youtube. Genius. Thank you.

  • @eddythehunn is it stil your fsavorite?

  • They both sounded like taiwanese XD

  • @icepanda89 I believe they are hmong..Wisconsin has a huge population of hmong but you are right it does sound like taiwanese... :)

  • haha ive been in this airport several times wisconsin is sooo boring but madiscon is decent in the summer and spring

  • This my favorite movie! Thank you!!!

  • Haha to answer the real question most Madisonians do not get offended at being called a mathematical term.

And yes, I realize obtuse has several meanings, but the bottom line is anyone who uses it is a doosh.

  • I have lived in Madison all my life and I have to say it is one of the best places to live. Madison (especially the East side) is extremely well to fit into no matter what you're like, like at the williamson st. co-op.

And yes, cMarie101st, it is liberal, but thats because we are so well educated here.

Also, I don't know any anarchists. just saying...

  • what a fascinating walk through the airport... good thing i have no idea what you're saying...

i'm glad i fast-forwarded through this video to see if anything would happen

  • Madison is a beautiful city, and the way it was designed on an isthmus. One of the challenging things is that, due to this, they cannot build commercial office buildings too high.

Would I come back to Madison? Heck yeah!

  • nothing is built taller than the capital... city statute... silly wisconsinites.

interesting fact: if shots for the nation's capital are needed they often use madison's.

  • and way more affordable than Chicago

  • Madison's a great town except for its extreme liberalism. The people there are like they're from another planet.

  • Madison's liberalism is a core reason it's such a nice city. Madison isn't afraid to spend money to maintain it's parks, bike trails, good school, mass transit, etc. Growth is, mostly, guided with sensible urban planning.

  • Sure, it's a nice city if you're liberal. Of course if you are not, you will be treated like sludge from especially the student population, who like to accost people on State near campus with their anti-war and anarchist tripe.

  • Madison is a nice city to visit, not to live in. I live in Madison right now (as of this comment), and don't like it. I can't blend in well enough, and this (or that) city gets so boring after you've lived here (or there) for many years. When my parents say they want me to live nearby when I have my own place, they don't give me any freedom. I can't seem to make them understand that Dane County isn't somewhere for me, and I'm not someone for Dane County. They have to get over me.

  • Wow, um, sounds like a personal problem.

Unless you're leeching off of them for rent money, grow a pair and move. Or get a job and move.

Liberalism: every city has a personality, and some people like the political climate in Madison. Personally, I've found the majority of residents perfectly accepting, except to @holes that intentionally start trouble. In 5 years there, I was only once "accosted" by an anti-war type who gave me a flyer for MoveOn. In other words, you sound like a whiner.

  • Madison is boring, unless you only go there for a visit. I have lived in Madison long enough and have found nothing new. Also, it was built for cars like most American cities were. I belong in a bigger city made for humans alone, not for cars.

  • I disagree it's a driving city, I had a car and used it about twice a month for groceries, and I also disagree it's boring unless you actively ignore all that goes on, though admittedly there's a strong intellectual aspect to much of Madison's action for obvious reasons (anyway, you said yourself "this [or THAT] city gets so boring"...to you), but that's not the point. The point is you're not 12 so the only one restricting your freedom is you, not your mommy.

    Venezia is very anti-car, btw.

  • The bigger the city you move to the more car dependant you become unless you live dowtown, which is both dangerous and expensive in major cities

  • That's not true. Major cities are usually more densely populated, so you wouldn't need to have your own car in most of them.

  • If that's your thing, but then your stuck dowtown and have to take public transportation everywhere. Which is not only a pain in the ass but very expensive.

  • Not if you have a pass that is actually cheaper than a car.

  • move and stop whining...its obvious u dont like madison and ur putting up an arguement to say big cities are better...so move ur ass out

  • haha 'a bigger city (than madison) made for humans, not cars'

    Good one you fuggin idiot

  • That's not funny!

  • Maybe you should try listening to sometime.

Theres no saying that goes "born a close-minded conservative douchebag, always a closed-minded conservative douchebag"

  • I'm a moderate. It's amazing what you think you can discern from someone you don't know.

  • Haha! Yeah, a real moderate. You sound like someone who would argue Fox News really is 'Fair and Balanced'

  • It's called a generalization. You know, it's those wide ranging comments people make that the majority of times is taken with a grain of salt or extremely seriously by someone like you, which causes you to foam at the mouth and hurl insults. At least I can post comments without personal insults. You should try it sometime.

  • OK Mr. Maturity, let's get back to the point and stop trying to look like the victim, nobody cares.

Just like if you move outta Madison, nobody will give a shit.

  • *yawn*

  • I'm moving to Madison for school this fall and all I can say is that I hope I don't encounter anyone there as obtuse as you.

  • Then I would stay where you are.

  • You just admitted you are obtuse. How odd; most people possess enough self respect to defend themselves. Are you saying all Madisonians are spineless then?

  • Lived in Madison for nearly 10 years. One of the best cities I've been to ... just wish it wasn't so cold! I'd still be there!

  • Go die in Iraq for nothing.

  • go Madtown

  • Great city! Great people! Watch out for the monster badger BUCKYSTEIN! Have you seen the video? There is a down side to staying in Madison.

  • I meant the person who posted the video.

  • I love Madison...........

  • It's a great city. where did you arrive from?

  • Arrive from? I just went North from Michigan :D through Chicago
