@bigbenITA If you actually have the space then 2 fifteens will be louder and handle power better (assuming the same amount of power split between 2 subs instead of all to one)

Hi, dave i have a 2005 monte carlo and i have a orion hcca 12.2 sub. i wanted to know if a ported box with the sub facing up and the port towards the back will hit harder than a ported box with the sub facing downwards a downfiring box?

@07RedRider400 I can make flares for the ends of 6"pvc out of wood. I don't flare the pvc itself if that's what you're looking for.

@suckingboobies By "hertz rating" do you mean what would the box be tuned to? Tuning doesn't really vary by power applied, it is more geared toward your system goals...in other words, whether you are looking for sound quality, spl or a loud daily system. Send me a message with what kind of vehicle its for and how much room you have and I'll get you a detailed quote.
