I know it distracts a little bit, but I wanted to show Wallace's reaction to the fireworks. Many other dogs wouldn't be that calm when they were going off that close.

That's very true, my first dog took off when we set fireworks off. We found him a few hours later just walking around the lake, but it was quite the scare since he'd never strayed far from us before that. My dog now ran into the house and slept in the cupboard the first time he heard fireworks, he's still scared.

Wow. I love the work you do with Wallace.

I was playing with a pit/lab mix we have for adoption at the shelter I volunteer with. When a woman asked me if we had any dogs that were under a year, I pointed toward the pit mix ("Rocky"). She said, "Oh no, I can't have a pit bull. They're vicious." As she was walking away, Rocky was busy licking my face.

It makes me so sad to see people discriminate against a specific breed based on pure ignorance.
