  • WOW! Really kewel boat and great design. Did you design it or build from someone else's plans? I am designing a few different boats at this time but nothing like yours. Looks like it was a fun project. I hope mine are LOL!

  • Very cool.. found the boat for sell on craigslist today and found my way here.

What is that music you have during the video?

  • do u rekon u can put a moto on that

  • well IMO the transom doesnt seem strong enough could be wrong

  • That is really neat!

    You are very talented.

I was wondering why the fishing line?

Wouldn't a few sets of piano hinges or such be more durable?

I like that it folds to the relative size of a surf board. Provision for some sort of quick sail would be nice.

I smell the makings of a small home buisness here for the savy home entrepeneure!

    Good luck and God bless!

  • beautiful craftsmanship, but for a novice like me I will probably end up buying the porta-bote

  • great job should have a go at making a bigger version,by the way how stable was it?

  • i dont think folding boats are a good idea but that is my opnion

  • I have sold the Barquito.

    Thanks for your interest

  • Why did you sell the boat? Did you make some good money on it? And if so is it for another boat project or to pay for a crack whore? Just kidding XD I just had to say it ...SORRY ; )

  • @DeeBee15537 you sold it for $200 or it took $200 to make it?

  • Brilliant !

  • That's a good looking boat!

  • beautiful job

    congratulations !

  • Congratulations on a very nice project -- and great documentation, too.

  • The only thing that concerns me is the use of fishing line for hinges. I would think that the constant rubbing against the wood would cause them to eventually break. Again, beautiful job!

  • Yes, maybe one of the stronger Spectra fishing lines would have been a better choice. Amazing!

  • very cool. congrats!

  • very well done ! congratulations !

  • Thats a beaut.nice!
