where do you find all thin lizzy songs i have almost evry album they have made but lots of the songs u have have i never heard befor? they still rock after all this yers !!!!
I think it would have worked on the 'Fighting' album and if not there...surely 'Nightlife'. 'Nightlife' needed a another track like this.
That said, I too am not a huge fan of "Rosalie". It's an okay song, but Lizzy had tons of better tracks. I'm honestly not sure why so many people wanted Thin Lizzy to play it so much...it's not even an original.
Yes Lizzy has alot of great tracks.. That are problably 5x greater than Jailbreak or The Boys Are Back In Town.. Those 2 are also awesome tracks.. But its ironic how an underappreciated bands creation is often even unappreciated by their own fans :P
I'm not sure if this would of worked on the fighting album, but maybe ? I don't think Rosalie was ever a good studio song, don't get me wrong it was brilliant live, but just not the studio version.
Spirit slips away is still my fav' off of the Fighting album.
You're a veritable Indiana Jones when it comes to excavating lost Lizzy treasures, bro. This would fit very well on "Fighting" (my favorite Lizzy album); in fact, I think it would have made a good replacement for "Rosalie" (I know -- I just committed a sacrilege of some sort).
This performance has a real "Live & Dangerous" vibe, too. These guys were just TIGHT right out of the chute, weren't they?
I think this song works okay as a live number - but nothing special for an album - before anyone steps in I LOVE Thin Lizzy - just my view.

Always thought Nightlife was one of their weakest albums, they could of used this on the LP. Good tune, thanks.

I agree. I would have preferred this on Fighting to Rosalie.
Looking forward to getting Nightlife this week.

The Boys Are Back In Town is my least favourite Lizzy song by far and yet it is the most famous/liked song by them.

Yeah the live version is good, but the studio version is a bit too- well, *gay*.
