they should bring back this show and show more less known fighting styles like dambe kalirpatuu (im 99 percent sure i dint spell that right) and capoiera and call it human weapon underground
@HannibalBarca5 The other big martial art show, Fight Quest, did Kalarippayattu. It's available here on youtube I think. Neither them nor this show has touched capoeira though, but there's a swedish show called Rallarsving did an episode on it, they even tried a new emerging style in El Salvador that mixes Brazilian Ju-jitsu and capoeira, called capojutsu.
this show is fun and you learn s. th. about the countries and the martial art presented. I am german and learn some judo, bjj and filipino styles. I love martial arts and good documentations, so this is a very good programme to me.
i may be able to help you with that, dont lock your arm completely straight, make a slight bend at the elbow and it will absorb the shock to your arm.
Fight quest, because, those guys dont take anything for granted, respect their instructors, and the kyokushin part was awesome!!!! ;) and by the way their much better fighters than these guys!!!
just because you dropped out of school doesnt mean some of us dont understand the pure power the human body is being subjected to during one of these moves, the equations help estimate just how badly it would hurt... for thoseof us who know what they mean
"This strike delivers as much force as a freight train, wrapped in barbed wire, on fire, dropped from a seventy-storey building" ... you know, I think stuff like that is what makes this show so much fun.
@malmokber I can imagine experts of physics do, coming up with simple examples that represent how much power these techniques can bring. Essentially it's making it simple so everyone can understand.
Legit.

dude why didn't they show the double elbow strike from bokator. It's so much stronger than muay thai, because muay thai is a rip off from bokator
lovefordante 2 years ago
Can't get as much power with 2 elbows.
supxnow 2 years ago
It's one elbow but it's to elbow strikes to the head can send someone to the ER is done hard enough
lovefordante 2 years ago
i think what they have done is worked out the force from the punch then the force from the bowling ball
fishandchips1235 2 years ago
It really makes my laugh the way they say 'That has as much force as a bowling ball dropped from a house' an ' ... like a sledge hammer handle'
LMAO. Who makes up this stuff?
