The Beatles were more than musicians - they were prophets. Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read the section about The Beatles, and you will see what I mean.
by the way, I tried to run a campaign to remove the "dislike" button from all the beatles songs, but I failed...(understand me! Justin Bieber was running a counter-campaign against my idea!!!)
I was ll yrs old when the Beatles came to america. I cried when I saw them and wanted to run to england to marry Paul. I lived the magic of Beatlemania. It was awesome beyond comprehension. PLEASE go to my favs and click on ALL MY LOVING. these are 2 fellow ORIGINAL BEATLEMANIACS from Brooklyn New York that I grew up with singing a tribute to our favorite guys. THE BEATLES MUSICAL MAGICAL GENIUS WILL LAST FOREVER!
Hey, I think you're right. Listen close at 1:27 and you can hear his ring tone. I think it's the Theme from Scooby Doo. Is John using a digital delay run through a Mac laptop. By jove, I think he is. Probably a harmonizer to double those poor harmonies they always put out.
LOL. You can see it on the faces of the kids in the audience. Total ecstasy. They're thinking, Where did they COME FROM?! Where has this BEEN?! Out of the blue, and unlike anything that had come before, or would come again.
To my knowledge, this and the third Ed Sullivan show are the only known performance films of the Beatles singing "Please Please Me." There's got to be a couple of more out there, though.
George Harrison was no virtuoso at this point. Are you kidding me? Paul would tell him to step aside in the studio because he'd sit there for hours trying to get his parts right and Paul would just play them himself.
Fair enough, but I am sure you could agree that if he was able to keep up with Paul and was learning from Paul every step of the way then was obviously very gifted and intelligent, as they all are. Maybe I am wrong, but I am pretty sure they had all taken musical classes as part of school through their youth! They ALL messed up A LOT..save for Ringo, who very rarely goofed. Music RULEZ!!! Hhahaha
So, and how OLD was George at this point? 20 - 21. Terrible - he wasnt a virtuoso at 21. All the Beatles were highly talented, and saying that they were 'overrated' is just a trite cliche that emanates from snotnosed twirps who like, say, The Offspring. LOL
Was...was someone not plugged in? Was George not plugged in? Was the gain turned down on John too? It seems the audio was very....thin, as if someone at master control was drunk, or wiring was bad.

I tried to run a campaign to remove the "dislike" button from all the Beatles songs, but I failed.
But please don't get mad at me: Justin Bieber ran a counter-campaign against my idea, and then pressed 7 times the button "dislike" of this music...

Uh, you are kidding, right? We didn't have cell phones in 1964. You know that right?
Rotary dial phones were state of the art.

this is not a cover.. it's the beatles themselves.. lol.
itsraynard 4 years ago
I wasn't referring to "cover" as cover band...but cover up...the out of tune was covered up nicely by George of course...(-_-)
PrinceLornie 4 years ago
oh cover up.. i see.. my bad..
and yes, george does make a mistake lol
itsraynard 4 years ago
no he doesn't, there's something wrong with the audio in the clip - it surfaces again around 2:00 when you hear the chipmunk voices.
oswald622 3 years ago
George never made any mistake.
whotles 4 years ago 5
Yeah...a minor one. But he is a virtuoso already at this point in his young life, and was ready to cover it up with his palm.

I think you mean Brian Jones 1968, whacked on brandy and Mandrax and having to be covered for by Keith Richards.
