FORD EVEREST IS BETTER! Everest is roomy and bigger than this inside and is much more comfortable. It has greater torque which is useful when overtaking in highways. My dad's montero goes unstable when reaching speeds of 160kph and up in the highway and my mom's everest still does great even at 180kph. If you are a tall person montero is not recommendable because of the short legroom but everest is perfect for tall people.

@ebonydiospyrosferrea not really.. im 5 foot 10 and im seated comfortably on the 3rd row of MS.. higher and 3rd row ng everst but wala man lang headrest.. the new 2011 montero sport is coming soon with more torque 178 and 400 hp... the engine comes with VGT and 5 speed and may paddle shifter pa.. coming to our shore very soon..

4WD was not engaged in this video. None the less, the Montero Sport 3.2L is a good SUV. My top speed was 202Km/h with Total Diesel fuel. 198KM/h with Petron Diesel. Gonna try with Shell soon.

Montero Sport can be compared to Land Rover for it has this terrain drive selection.

@hilcon17 ah ganun ba, yup nag iisip isip rin ako if mas ok ang fortuner or montero. Na experience ko kasi sa strada na nagkaproblema sa engine baka mamaya katulad ng montero din ang problem at saka sa arangkada minsan parang nasasakal.

mas madami ang reklamo sa makina ng fort nagchochoke daw yung sa valve ata..

sulit na sulit daw yung bayad mo sa monty.... :D d ka magsisi..

Ya this has a very nice ride when traveling in the philippines

in the philippines most road arent paved or even cemented. we have a ford escape it has a very bumpy ride due to OEM gas shock i guess. this SUV is good for money we go a 2.5AT for 1.340M last december.

well it depends on your needs..if you're a living purely in the city certainly santa fe is a good choice also it is good on pave road.ride is really comfortable..but if you are an offroader, montero is the best choice...value for the money, montero sport...

the santa fe is a good buy if youre looking for an everyday car in the city. try considering the all new kia sorento as well its got a better ride than that of the santa fe..(mean no disrespect tho) it also seats 7 and not too "BULKY" in such a way. but if you go to the province a lot you should get the MS because its designed for all terrain driving and also does well in the city. the fortuner sucks.. goodluck hope this helps
