i dont like it. other GA pilots i think would agree planes dont need to be shoved close together its just not safe no matter how many systems are governing separation its not safe. the FAA is a bunch of retards all pilots know that and we all know that they constantly risk passenger safety on commercial flights.
By the year 2015 Nexgen will be in full swing. Its a great system, but what really cool is whats comming after Nexgen. I would think it would be that a pilot does nothing except manages the flat glass displays infront of him/her. Everything will be already programed ahead of time and entered. The plane and computer do the rest. So, cool.

During a private tour of NASA Moffit Field a few years ago, we were shown the division working on this project for the FAA. At that time they thought they were between 5-10 years out. Don't know what the latest prognosis is but certainly looking forward to it. Another fine video from Airboyd...thanks!
