Class!..RIP Tammy...I love this version and Maxine Harvey singing the lyrics as well, albeit slightly altered in Tammy's version...This is still played in night clubs 20 years on, although not as frequently as I would imagine they played it back in the early 90s..Come on people of a certain age did they?..I am 28 so I am too young to know :-)

@johnnyjayramone I'm sorry, but pop was about to be trashy even in the 80s, too. Look at "Tell It To My Heart" by Taylor Dayne. In the 90s there was much more trash pop shit. Look at "Flat Beat" by Mr. Oizo. Or have a look at boybands like World's Apart. Even in the 70s pop music was sometimes bad. For example Boney M. I think music was the worst between 2000 and 2004 with damn fuckin shit like Dragostea din tei. Now you can find good things in the charts again.

There is no definitive explanation of The KLF's name, nor of the origin of 'K' in the names of the K Foundation and 2K, although it is widely believed that the correct spelling was "Kopyrite" in order for the full title to comprise of 23 letters. KLF has been variously reported as being an acronym for "Kopyright Liberation Front" and "Kings of the Low Frequencies".
