Mark King Bass Solo - Night of the Proms

I wonder where any of those 42 Mark King signature Fender models are now? I have yet to read about anybody that owns one with any pictures of theirs on the web.

it's a fender, he didn't start using the goodfellows untill a year after this footage was taken.

Well he only used them for the one year before switching to GB. This is actually a Mark King Signature Jazz Bass you see being played here, and only 42 are in existence, making them incredibly rare.

i know what u mean dude but the mark king look is made out of a status bass if you know what i mean. He just looks weird without a status.

I have to strongly disagree. Mark King is made of Jaydee. The jaydee sounds better than both the status and definitely this fender. Think wood and neck-thru design fellas.

totally agree!! i wish he'd also use his jaydee along with his status now. i'd love to hear him fire up one of those again. totally unique sound.

I think, Night of The Proms is a big concert night with some rather old but famous bands playing in mix with classical acts.

Why is he doing this "hey" thing ... ?

The Proms in Britain are full of twats; If any of you people watch Wimbledon, watch Tim Henman's matches and listen for the infamous 'Camm On Tim' cries, because those are the type of people who attend the proms. They're trying to modernize it with the 'Electric Proms', but its still the same shitty series of Concerts.
