  • Hi Fujitsufan - we have just launched a new site in the UK to promote the Stylistic Q550 - see: all the w's followed by ukdotfujitsudotcomforwardslashSTYLISTIC - enjoy :)

  • why buy a win7 tablet now if wind8 will be released later this year?? weird marketing.. unless its upgradable to win8 its a no no..

  • @edrianquintos It's not weird marketing, for everyone that need real productivity like real PC this Win7 Tablet is way to go; besides it was introduced months before Windows 8 announced.. so you better think first before making utterly false statement.

  • “Looks” lighter than that HPs' brick and DELLs indescribable performance. Maybe you should be looking at the Q550 Slate

  • looks thick and heavy

  • I like the concept of the slate, a true tablet PC. Only wish it was tuned more towards the artist side of things. I won't be buying one, if I bought anything it would be the T900 at this point.

  • Is this still scheduled to be released in the US in May?

  • @joen0411 Yes, check back on the STYLISTIC Q550 product page in the first week of May.

  • @joen0411 STYLISTIC Q550 has launched today in the US!

  • @fujitsufan How can it run Windows 7 on only 2GB or RAM?

  • @joen0411 STYLISTIC Q550 is built upon the Intel “Oak Trail” platform which is a platform optimized for low-power embedded designs, i.e. companion tablet PCs that support Microsoft Windows 7. The Oak Trail platform has been designed to support up to 2 GBs of memory which not only supports Windows 7 operating system, but also all of the Microsoft productivity software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office) commonly used in business environments.

  • @joen0411 what ? win 7 will run on 256 mb

  • @dotsmart70 Where did you hear that stupid thing and how did you manage to believe that?

Win 7 doesn't even let you install if you have under 512MB RAM and 1GB is the official minimum requirement.

Even if you did manage to run it, what good is it when you can't run any software on it?

  • ipad killaa!!!!!!

  • Where is WACOM? N-trig is no use to me.

  • @madheavy We offer a full line of convertible Tablet PCs with Wacom digitizers like the current LIFEBOOK TH700, T730 and T900 Tablet models that give you a powerful portable PC with the convenience of both notebook/keyboard and slate/pen modes on demand, plus security on-the-go and more- Fujitsu has the largest line-up of Tablet PCs offering something for everyone.

  • Are there any plans to build an accessory that will make this a "hybrid" unit with full keyboard?

  • @g00dn3t Yes, an optional Bluetooth keyboard will be available for more efficient productivity.

  • i think i will buy one, but i guess this is clearly a business class slate... i wonder if they make one for students, and make it more cheaper...

  • @THECOMICNINJAATTACK There already is ~ if you feel the STYLISTIC Q550 may not be powerful enough to run more complex applications, consider the 10.1" convertible LIFEBOOK T580, which delivers Intel Core performance in a similar form factor with option of using the keyboard, at only 3-lbs. • Can it be use for digital sketching and is pen a Wacom digitizer pen. If so, then I would in line for one.

  • @drers25i Yes, it can be used for digital sketching and has pressure-sensitive inking capability. We can tell you more about the digitizer when we get closer to launch time.

  • Now that's something to buy, atta-boy .

  • THANK YOU for a removable battery AND extended option
