This guy is just a pure Warrior and an Icon of the sport for sure, He fights for the fans, He loves them cheering and going crazy. The win is just a bonus. Although I dont think he is the same fighter from Pride he should deffo be inducted into the HAF.

Wanderlei is an awesome fighter, but I think that the UFC's rules kind of handicap his style. PRIDE had much better rules for Wand with the kicks and knees to the head while on the ground and such.

To me getting scored 30-27 by all judges shows how the ufc is corrupt. Lets be honest the rounds were so close that if there that close score it 9-9 or 10-10. Franklin,liddel and courture have alwasy gotten the better decisions and always get the lucky calls for some reason ... hmmm. I was rooting for wanda so obviously i thought he won but i can see how rich could of won but all say 30-27 in a close fight? Terrible stuff to see from a fan fan point of view.

It was a great fight, however dropping down to fight MW veteran Rich Franklin and get a close decision loss can't be described as someone who is not a threat. Personally, I thought he won but it was so close that being a fan of Wanderlei probs makes me think he won.
