First it was Lufia II's stupid remake (Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals) for the DS. Now this!?!?! $#%@! Please, please allow this to be played on a normal game console like the DS!

This is one of the best games on the SNES and possible the best action rpg of all time. Reamkes in general have been getting annoying, but at the same time, this being sort of a port also to iphone means a new generation isn't forgoing the classic greats (hopefully, who knows though maybe a bunch of people from the old gen just got a bunch of money and bought an iphone lol). None the less, seeing this on here lifts my mood alittle bit.

So they took the time to clean up some of the graphics, revamp the control scheme for iPhone, and clean up some of the dialogue, but they still can't seem to release Seiken Densetsu 3? I love SD2 (Mana) as much as the next old school fanboy, but let's release some games that were never released abroad SquareEnix, namely the sequel to this amazing throwback.

Played from beginning to end on the Iphone. Although the controls are a little wonky and don't respond as well as they should this was an excellent port and I like the improved HUD system.

Oh man...

Back when it hit the Super NES it hooked me like very few other games ever have. I know a lot of people sing the praises of Chrono Trigger or FFIV when it comes to Square SNES titles (for good reason), but this game...THIS was the gem of the system for me.

I'm a little surprised it's hitting the iPhone before, say, the DS...but regardless of where it goes, I'm thrilled to see it come back. Anyone who has never played it, you should. They don't make 'em like this (often) anymore!

...this is not even fair because THIS Secret of Mana has NEVER once been remade...it's only been ported ONCE...which doesnt count. This personally to me is more of a remake because they added ALOT of animation to it, they've redid the hud, they've from what I see...is a total redrawing of the entire game. It looks redrawn, if it isn't then they must have added like...contrast or somthing to make it look like it has more depth or detail. You have to remember it..

It looks like really choppy emulation from the small bit of game play it shows. They added some cool stuff (like a mini map on flamie.) I love this game, but this doesn't seem like it will run that well at all.

Yeah pretty much, they got it on their Wiiware shop, surely it can't be so hard to set it up for the 3DS or NDS either. Although knowing Nintendo's experience with setting up these shops, its gonna be either too fiddley or they just release it as a 40 bucks release for NDS or something like that. But we can always hope.

@ericluc13 I like the gameplay. This game is just like most other older RPG games except for a few different twists.. Like the combat for 1 isn't turn based, it's an active time RPG. Like Zelda, FF12-13, or Crono Trigger.

Your weapons and skills get stronger as as u use em so that's pretty cool, instead of having to buy everything with money/skill points.

So yea, the game is good imo. If you like Classic RPG's, you'd like this one
