Excellent! Guy at my local record store imported a few 12'' versions, played it when I was there..instantly hooked! Still have the extended and instrumental wax version back home, been searching for this for while, THANK YOU!!!
I also have the live performance of this on video tape taken from the Chart Show in the 80's. Awesome band, faster ,and funkier live version with great percussion. Must dig it out sometime. Thanks for posting this rare gem.
EXCELLENT! I haven't heard this song since I saw the video on channel 4's The Chart Show back in the eighties. I've got it on a videotape somewhere from the show (unfortunatety, I've got over 200 videotapes some without labels. It may take some finding). If the clip is still viewable, and I can work out how to uplift it onto you tube, I'll post it.
A then unknown but soon to be legendary Saxophonist named Steve Williamson is on here, with one time lead singer of Brand New Heavies Jay Ella Ruth (formerly Williamson)
Of course, there's Mr. Luke 'STOMP' Cresswell too!
I can't find this tune anywhere, its really hard to find.

I'll look for it this weekend. It should be a little easier to find knowing that it dates from 1987. Wish me luck!
