  • did u guys ate her

  • I love how you shoot her,and it takes her three seconds to freak out and start flailing.

  • You guys eat them?

  • actually the official record for an alligator gar is 14 feet just to let you know, but my uncle caught a 22 feet!

  • does anybody know which lake in the Woodlans has alligator gar? i remember a guy telling me that theres a lake that has alligator gar

  • i didn't think those little zebco reels could handle a fish like that. Or is that some other reel?

  • I'd rather hook one of those gar so it could put up a REAL FIGHT. Bowfishing for them looks too easy. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

  • @fiendfrank I've heard they easily snap lines with their teeth, though.

  • i go at a pond in april and shoot as many carp and gar as possible

  • would you aim higher or lower because of water diffraction?

  • lower

  • ok i officially love rednecks

  • Anyone know what river in north texas has a lot of gar? I live in Wichita Falls, and have heard a few people say "the river" is filled with them. But not the Red River. It was another. I don't know my rivers too well yet around here.

  • trinity river

  • lol i rather use a fishing rod, is more funner

  • tiny pole big ass fish!!!

  • in what depth of water can you find and shoot with a bow, gar ??? if someone has an answer reply my comment pliz....

  • gar can be found on the surface or bottom, if you wait until dusk right before the sun sets it will be the best time if you live on a river, they like to feed off the top at that time. you will see them floping and their fins comming out of the water

  • Gar come up to the top of the water for air so it's pretty easy to find them for bow fishing.

  • Nice gar. in florida where i live there are a shit load of them. I go out hunting all around the U.S. but i mostly go out to the everglades. Monster gar like those are really hard to find, those are beautiful

  • im not dissin the sport of bowfishin, but these fish are much more fun to catch on rod&reel IMHO
