@zippie1993 Get hold of anything you can by Alison Stephens. She is the musician actually playing this in the film. She died recently age 40 years old. Alison was a brilliant teacher of this instrument and there is lots of stuff out there.

I really love the emotion of this movie. It's very touching. I also love the setting. I visited Kefalonia as a 16 year old, over 10 years ago, and was enchanted by the islands charm and beauty. The greek culture is also very appealing. I would die happy if I lived my whole life on Kefalonia, sunbathing by day and by night listening to this music whilst sipping red wine and eating feta and olive salad drenched in an olive oil dressing! :-)

Ho letto che la critica l'ha stroncato,come si vede è un bel film che parla dell'amore di due persone di diverse nazioni in guerra anch'io italiano ho sposato una donna greca che mi ha dato molte soddisfazioni, i suoi parenti sono stati sempre molto cordiali e mi hanno sempre accolto bene. L'isola di Kerkyra mi è sempre piaciuta e ci sono andato molte volte.Rivedendo il film, molte volte mi ritorna in mente la mia vita,con sincera commozione.
