  • 1963 I met Pete Fountain when he played the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Not only an excelent musician, but a true gentleman. My day had this cut played at his funeral in 1973. Awesome!!!

  • When was this recorded?

  • @generationll 1960 i believe

  • amazing song. has a kinda sad overall tone in my opinion, but its great

  • Now this is music!!!

  • Have this on tape and this is one of my favorite versions of this song

  • Wow, I just love this. I started clarinet after hearing Pete when I was in first grade. This is exactly what I remember him playing. Brings me goose bumps. I learning it tonight and hope I can copy his great "fat" tone. O what fun. God bless him.

  • Oh, how I wish I hadn't gotten rid of my record of this!! I love it as much as I did when it was new!

  • This is from an excellent CD called something like "The Best of Pete Fountain." It shows in the background an old steam boat in black in white with an American flag I think. I'd highly recommend it.

  • Love this guy! God is in hm./

  • wonderful - cant say more

  • Like this a lot!. Classic Pete Fountain.
