  • I knew the Tune right away, Lance, and can remember some words, "Jubilate, Amen" from over 50 years ago. I must look up the words by Thomas Moore sometime. He was an Irish Poet who also wrote "Oft in the Stilly Night." Many thanks for taking me back down "Memory Lane", Lance. Yours aye. Charlie in Aberdeen.

  • I have not heard this song in ages. I learnt it in primary school. Thanks for sharing it indeed brings back past memories.

  • Very nice... thanks for posting. This song is sort of a rarity it seems. I havent heard it since I was in elementary school. It was not easy to find on google either.

  • Wonderfull - Wunderbar

  • I also found this in Best Loved Hymns; I didn't know anyone actually had that book. This tune is also used in the Methodist Hymnal under the name Vesper Hymn.

  • We played this in orchestra when I was 12, the class turned into a game to see who could play it as fast as possible. AH! Good times!

  • I've learned of several new tunes from watching your videos. This one sounds like one I heard as a child. Thanks Lance.

  • You're welcome.

  • Lance - This is totally new to me and absolutely lovely. Thanks for the Buffalo references as well. Reminded me of home. God Bless You.

  • Thanks - yes Buffalo is my Hometown and my Mom attended that Church on Main Street and sang in the Tabernacle Choir. I hope all is well over the pond.

    Lance

  • Praise His triune holiness for raising you up to bless us. You have a gift for music, I cannot deny.
