Firstly, when you mention the internet, the government has control over it as well. Most people get their information from the television or internet, which are manipulated by the communist China. Recently in my country Australia, the Chinese Uyghur leader Rebiya Kadeer visited melbourne- there was huge outrage from the chinese, and some australian websites who promoted her were hacked. The chinese cannot even keep their dirty suppression to themselves

By nature, a dictatorship prohibits freedom of expression, as the people do not have any power, they have no rights. You would seriously have to be kidding yourself if you believe otherwise.
