  • you know when the turtles do that means that they want to get it on with other turtles?

  • theyre like HAY MUSIC LADY FEED US WELL STOP WAVIN AT UU!!!

  • I have a question I know it's not the same, but I have a red footed tortoise, and he walks into the side of the cage a LOT o.O Like sometimes he puts his head up against the glas and just tries to walk...what exactly is he doing?

  • Maybe hes trying to burrow. Thats how my Red eared slider moves the rocks so he can sleep.

  • haha, my turtle wave a lot too! =P Its funny!! XD

  • holy crap, this is ratatat! nice music! i didn't know anybody else knew of them.

  • Oh heck yes. I saw them perform live, and they were amazing. Their music fits perfectly with my turtle videos. =)

  • i have two baby red eared slider turtles, and i kept them in a little plastic tank for about a week with about 2 inches of water and i just recently seen them in deep water on youtube swimming and such, so i got a new tank filled it with water and put them in it and and sunk to the bottom and wont come up for air, and they normally would every 2 to 3 minutes and didnt come up for more than ten minutes, so i took out a lot! of water making the tank only 3in deep. advice? i dont want them to die!!

  • Hi again check put my videos of my 2 red eared sliders =D have fun with ur turtles

  • el pico!!!! My favorite Ratatat song!!!

  • is it normal for some red ear slider's not to like the water because i have 2 baby res and one of them will stay underwater for up to 10 mins and the other one like never gose under water and he dose not like to eat much.. :(

  • well in TN and Alabama and some other southern states its ILLEGAL to SELL ANY turtle b/c of the risk of salmonella. You can look it up on the Tennessee wildlife resource agency website

  • If that's true, then that sucks! States can go in depth with national laws and make them more strict if they want. And apparently Tennessee has!

  • also, what state do u live in b/c in TN there are laws against them and it makes me mad b/c i want one but i dont wanna steal a wild one

  • It's illegal all over the U.S. to SELL turtles less than 4 inches. A lot of places sell them anyways apparently. It's not illegal to BUY them though. Be careful though. A lot of turtles are already sick when you buy them.

I agree. You shouldn't take one straight from the wild.

  • what do you feed them?

  • I give them Reptomin food with pellets, krill, and shrimp. I also feed them romaine lettuce.

You can find out what all you can feed them on Google.
