  • I did this all last winter. As long as the manure is dry, it burns great in the burn barrel. It must be very dry or it will smoke.

  • @dpetrano

I'm made some horse manure briquettes in a brick press but it's taking weeks to dry them out, how did you dry yours?

  • @MrBodshi ,

    I have 4 horses.

I do NOT make bricks from of the shavings, dirty hay, and horse ca-ca that's mucked-up from the stalls. I merely spread the stuff I intend to burn thinly on concrete and allow it to dry under the sun. When it's VERY DRY, it burns great.

  • I have thought of trying this too! Glad to see it works.

  • does it smell?

  • Ammazza oh! Del cavallo non si butta via niente.

    Complimenti.

    Congratulations!
