I struggled with sexual perversion for many years but I gave my life to Christ on June 19th 2011. Unfortunately there was still an area of my life that I was not fully committed to, due to my pride and ignorance. My church has a school of leaders class and one of the lessons was on sexuality and purity. Thankfully God spoke to me through that lesson today. I went home, watched a video by Pastor Tim Conway on masturbation, repented of my sins, now i have victory through Christ! Thank you Lord!
A year ago from today I almost overdosed on Ecstasy, I was addicted to porn, selfish, arrogant,prideful,lonely,depressed, a year later today I am on fire for the Lord & not a lukewarm Christian like I use to be, I am experiencing a new level of freedom & peace that I have NEVER felt before in my 21 years of life. Praise to the almighty God for doing a complete 180 in my life, I'm free from those chains of sin the enemy had on me, with the Lord on my side nothing can stop me, he is INVINCIBLE!!

A lesson in this regarding a few posts I have read is this. You can get rid of the computer or whatever else it is that gives you trouble, but until the desire is dealt with, the struggle remains. God doesn't want us to live under the law. It is in relationship with him and as we have a greater personal understanding of His love for us that the desire to sin goes away. Read the book of Hosea and Lk. 22:31-34 Jesus knew Peter would forsake him, but He prayed for him, didn't judge him.
My best friend was talking about how he was talking to his parents about his troubles. I thought he was crazy! But after I talked to a few more of my friends i found out it was normal to talk to your parents about troubles :/ My parents told me to NOT tell them whats going on in my life. Mom, dad, you guys have no idea of whats happened in my life....
Now is the time to let them know. Whether they want to know or not. As a parent I am always concerned when my kids are not at home because of all the temptations out there.

Throughout the past years I was a hypocritic Christian. I looked at pornagraphy, I sweared all the time, and disrespected a lot of people. All the while still pretending I was a true Christian while blatantly lying to my family, my friends, myself and God. About 3 months ago I decided to turn completely away from those temptations forever. I have to constantly ask God for help in getting through those satanic temptations. But as long as God is on my side I can walk on water and face my demons.

I am truly happy for you... I just back from a Christian retreat with all of my friends and before I went there, it was like I was in a club and there was no true relationship between God and me and now I am like serving him like crazy... But anyway... I am so happy for you. :)

It makes them hate us even more because they think all of us are like those idiots. Just found my faith again after 8 years of battling the devil. He made my mom quit church by making me sick, and once mom said she wasnt going to go anymore, yu won devil, just leave my baby alone, I wasnt sick anymore. Now i get sick still but its worth it.
You know, it really disappoints me to see fellow Christians argue and therefore turn away people who don't believe from the truth. You really want to make a difference go talk to someone in person, mend a broken heart, but mostly let God guide what you say. I'm far from anything perfect, but I know someone forcing things down my throat and arguing with me over the internet didn't cause me to come to Christ.

We had been praying about it for months, and the holy spirit finally released us to do it.. and we all gathered around him and laid hands on his leg and watched as god worked. It was amazing.

i honestly believe in jesus now, yesterday i went to this church and the man said god tells me that there is someone in the crowed ith a bad right hip (i have a bone disorder) and i was like no way thats me, so i went up to him and him and a few other people were praying and then the guy said i get the sence that one leg is longer than the other and then he got me to sit down and him and the two girls prayed and my leg grew! I SEEN IT GROW!!! thats the power of our lord! <3

@shadowwolfshade I totally agree with yu! I have enough common sense to realize God does NOT want us to force religon down peoples throat and i'm only 14! It makes them hate us even more because they think all of us are like those idiots. Just found my faith again after 8 years of battling the devil. He made my mom quit church by making me sick, and once mom said she wasnt going to go anymore, yu won devil, just leave my baby alone, I wasnt sick anymore. Now i get sick still but its worth it.

You know, it really disappoints me to see fellow Christians argue and therefore turn away people who don't believe from the truth. You really want to make a difference go talk to someone in person, mend a broken heart, but mostly let God guide what you say. I'm far from anything perfect, but I know someone forcing things down my throat and arguing with me over the internet didn't cause me to come to Christ.

@GalaxySummerSmileMV amen!! The same thing happened in our church with a man who had his leg amputated because of diabetes complications... it grew back about 4 inches just during prayer. We had been praying about it for months, and the holy spirit finally released us to do it.. and we all gathered around him and laid hands on his leg and watched as god worked. It was amazing.

i honestly believe in jesus now, yesterday i went to this church and the man said god tells me that there is someone in the crowed ith a bad right hip (i have a bone disorder) and i was like no way thats me, so i went up to him and him and a few other people were praying and then the guy said i get the sence that one leg is longer than the other and then he got me to sit down and him and the two girls prayed and my leg grew! I SEEN IT GROW!!! thats the power of our lord! <3
