Ahmad Deedat also blasphemes God and preaches heresy by saying: “This is the nature of man, God made us like dat” I am sorry, but this is not “man’s nature” and God did not “make us like dat” otherwise God would be accountable for corruption (in Whom there is no corruption).
As for 1 Corinthians 11,5 Paul urges women to cover their heads only in church, in worship, NOT for reasons of nudity, exposure or “invitation for rape” (God forbid!) but for the iconic symbolism of Christ being the Head of the Woman-Church, and Man being the Head of the Woman made out of Man, in parallel to the Creator. Apostle Paul does not give any atrocious orders, but equates, relates a woman with an uncovered head to a woman with a shaved head. It is a comparison, NOT a command!
He does not honour himself or his religion by claiming that “women in bikini’s invite rape” because he thus implies it as an excuse or exemption for rape and does not condemn rape in general, provoked or not. In all respect to the person of Ahmad Deedat, his sad comments on our Holy Bible regarding women covering their heads, are totally false & misleading. In contempt and disgust, he claims that the Apostle Paul supposedly says: “If a woman does not cover her head, then shave off her hair, shave it oofff!!”

Genesis 24:65 clearly says as obedience & 1 Corinthians Chapter 11:5 says only on while she is in a prayer house or a worship house. Not necessary or imperative to veil while she is out side of the prayer house.

Some rape victims are even killed by their own families for being raped (e.g. Jordan, and the sentance for murdering a rape victim is light ...only 4 months because its considered understandable). Verse 6 elaborates further: “If a woman doesn't like to cover her head, then she might as well shave” which means “it’s just like shaving”. The Greek word “keirastho” means hair-cut, NOT shave. Ahmad Deedat also blasphemes God and preaches heresy by saying: “This is the nature of man, God made us like dat” I am sorry, but this is not “man’s nature” and God did not “make us like dat” otherwise God would be accountable for corruption (in Whom there is no corruption).

As for 1 Corinthians 11,5 Paul urges women to cover their heads only in church, in worship, NOT for reasons of nudity, exposure or “invitation for rape” (God forbid!) but for the iconic symbolism of Christ being the Head of the Woman-Church, and Man being the Head of the Woman made out of Man, in parallel to the Creator. Apostle Paul does not give any atrocious orders, but equates, relates a woman with an uncovered head to a woman with a shaved head. It is a comparison, NOT a command!

He does not honour himself or his religion by claiming that “women in bikini’s invite rape” because he thus implies it as an excuse or exemption for rape and does not condemn rape in general, provoked or not. He doesn’t honour himself by giggling “g-strings attract even an old man like me” & “if I went there, I tell you, I will be burning inside!” Such confessions are not wise for an Elder who ought to be a serious, dignified role-model.

Firstly he presents the Biblical reference as a violent, dominating command of punishment. Apostle Paul never gave such brutal sadistic orders but declared Jesus Christ who taught that man and woman are EQUAL. (which the Quran opposes) Ahmad Deedat speaks in a “stand-up comedian” manner. The Bible is not comedy for hysterical laughter. His interpretation forms a callous and fanatical corruption of Scripture, twisted to his own attitude of degradation of women.
