Damn...Joey's bass playing is pretty kick ass...I could listen to his bass lines throughout the whole song and stay interested...it's so unique...no one plays bass like he does but it works so amazingly well for manowar.

indeed, and Logan is a better player then Ross when it comes to technique and stuff, but ross's sound was so much better, smoother and his solos had much more feeling to them, while logans sound live is screechy and not very good

Well the booklets and CD/vinyl covers might vary, depending on which country they were made etc. I've indeed seen sources where it says all the first album songs are written by Ross and Joey, except William's Tale and Metal Daze. Might be true that Joey and Erik write most of the stuff, true.

Still, all respect to Ross. I'd so wish to see him play with Manowar.. even if in one whole concert. Just Scott, Erik, Joey and Ross and old classics... Dark Avenger from Absolute Power = awesome!

Mmh yes, two songs... Dark Avenger and Battle Hymn (where he shared the stage with Shankle and Logan)... he didn't even play in Sign of the Hammer.
