this is the same band? rofl no. its jerry cantrel, sean kinney, the replacements for mike starr and layne. and god.... duvall sounds like a faggot and ruins a very personal song to the man who wrote its lyrics and vocals (layne). the vocal harmonies on the album version are one of the most underrated chorus' in history. layne made his voice sound like demons were laughing at him.

Duvall does a great job bringing is own edge to the old songs. Using his own voice and not trying to mimic layne. He brings a great element to the new songs as well

You know when you are going to call yourself the same band, you SHOULD get a singer that can have at least the same energy/feeling as Layne. Duvall doesn't even come CLOSE. Take a look at AC/DC, the new singer for them still had the same spirit as the original and it worked out great.

This is just a disgrace to Layne. This is Cantrell's solo career under the guise of the name "AIC"
