So... are we to assume that Kaguya was somehow perma-killed by the explosion (unlikely), or was she liquefied by the reactor leak (somewhat more believable)? Or maybe she'll show up during the final chapter's credits all fine and dandy (possible, due to immortality and all)? It's Schrodinger's Princess!

If I remember right [which I might not it's been a while], I believe the first fights as Buriki Daioh were automated - only the fight against the chapter's boss was playable.

Don't quote me on that though.  Don't remember all that well @_@

Yea, it didn't work that way, you could fight the enemies that were before the boss fight with your own controls in the original Live-A-Live mecha chapter.
