  • Thank you for the tips, imma try that with my Karmin G3 Salon Pro. :D

  • is it bad i watched full hose on her tv the hole time

  • it burned ur hair pretty good but that happens with me it looks good thoo

  • ur burning ur hair pretty good but i do that to it kinda sucks but it helped me and looks rly pretty on ur fat ass ur pretty big u should loose some weight :)

  • sectioning off your hair first would make using your flat iron a lot easier...

  • Ahhhm I ♥ your hair, ohh, and your room, and Full House:) ahaaaa:)

  • i cant do it

  • ur urls are cute but i cant tell what you are doing to make your curls look like that

  • You look like you're putting so much heat on your hair! But besides that this us a good tutorial and now I know how to curl my hair with my new soli a :)

  • you should take more hair so tht it would look more nicer but love the video now i finally understand how to curl my hair with my little solia :)

  • this really helped, thank you :)

  • So I am thinking of buying this flat iron and it seems great & all but I am still debating. You think I should get it? Or should I invest in a better one? BTW: Full House is amazing(:

  • your watching FULL HOUSE right?

  • so do you recommend solia ? i am deciding if i shud get it . : P and i like ur vids btww/

  • @doryandnat I recently just bought the solia and I makes your hair so shiny so silky and so soft. It stays like that all day when I woke up this morning my hair was still straight and smooth. I ordered mine from folica. com. Remember that hair products also play a big role in how well it will work. Hope I helped :)

  • Your hair is really pretty.

  • woaw look nice i am going to try it thanks..:)

  • Suite life on deck is on the tv lol

  • nu uh thats full house hunn(:

  • @pearberryxoxo oh sorry. i see it noww. from the one part i was looking at, it looked like they were on cruise and i instantly thought of suite life on deck. ooops.

    :))

  • r u wearing heat protectent, you could burn all your hair off with that flat iron

  • I am having troubles to witch one to buy a solia or a sedu ? i have think hair but its not too thick. i just dont know whitch one.

  • if you have thick hair, then the solia is probably even better for you, because the sedu's plates are short. Like, the Solia's plates go further down the iron, so you can fit more hair in them than you can fit in the Sedu, because the plates aren't as long. :) Sorry if that didn't make sense. <3

  • OMG!! FIREE!

  • i have a solia too. and it has that steam too. and when u straighten your hair with a solia do not touch it immediately b/c it will burn you!!! but i love solia!!

  • the steam from the flat iron is the humitity from your hair!

  • That solia flat iron does a good job on you. Your curls look great!! :)

    I just have one question:

I've never used flat iron before and want to buy one, so really got supprised when i saw all the steam comming out from the heat on this vidio...is that happening with all flat irons?? all of that steam??

  • it all depends.

getting the more expensive flat irons with the brand name and all the heat do tend to steam a lot. its not doing much damage to your hair if you use heat protectant.

If you buy a cheap one, say from walmart, then there it doesnt do as agood a job but it wont damage your hair as much

  • do you have a review on the solia flat iron?

  • cool video

  • you look like a older version of miley cyrus's little sister noah cyrus

  • that looks so much easier and faster than a curler! thanks for the vid, i'm gonna try it out when i get my solia!

  • Lol you're watching Full House in the background

  • OMG i looove that show ! <3

i dont have cable anymore :[ i definately miss watching it every day after school :) lol

  • thanx 4 dah video

  • ok u know what i was boared i had nothing to do so dont go and leaving smart coments on my page and if you have a problem witih it DEAL WITH IT because i fuckin get annoyed by people like you oh and you need to learn how to be more respectful

  • OK vid...2.5 stars. it would be better if u explained how to do it

  • omg that was good nd it is better than curlin iron

  • is your hair wet.....your thing is burning your hair!

  • The flat iron isn't burning her hair, and it doesn't necessarily do that when it's wet all the time. It's just the amount of heat being produced when she pulls it along her hair.

  • ya but if your hair is exposed to alot of heat all the time....it will get fried....she should use a heat protector on her hair

  • where can yew geht daht?...

nd wut isz iyt called exactly?...

  • OMG plz pplz stop putting these retarted superstisious things on videos! I have seen this exact on eon many wideos recently, within the past few weeks and i think there really annoying!

  • OMG plz pplz stop putting these retarted superstisious things on videos! I have seen this exact on eon many wideos recently, within the past few weeks and I think there really annoying! AND IT DOSEN'T WORK!

  • if you reposteded this, does that mean you just stuck your finger up your nosee ?!

  • you made me laugh my ass off rotfl!

  • well it must be true if they repostedd itt ;)

  • lol i know thats gross!

  • theey removedd itt ;)

  • lol theres some of them on the 2nd page

  • This is a great video!

I recently got the Solia, and have been trying to curl it.. Needless to say, I need practice (even though I can curl my hair easily and fast with a curling iron)

This video is definitely what I was looking for! I am keeping it in my favourite forever! Hahah.. Keep up the good job

  • Ah..well, thanks for your input, but my hair is in perfectly healthy condition, so it must not have burned it that bad.

  • u r way good AT CURLING HAIR !

  • I love Full House! lol. thanks for the video!

  • Well..I didn't make you watch it. Sorry you don't understand how, but about 95% of the people who left comments said it helped them..

  • Im sorry but you didn't teach me how to curl my hair with my straigntner. You only made me watch you do it to yourself.

  • very good demonstration - thanks for showing & sharing! also - cute smile at the end!! ;-)

  • were do you get the solia?

  • hey youre watching full house!!

    by the way great curls

  • Hi, first off your curls are amazing, but I'm so jealous. I've had my Solia for a 1 1/2 years, and I still can't figure out how to curl with it. Your video has helped, but because you're so good, my slow brain couldn't keep up with your fast technique. Can you please try to explain what your doing in words or curl a strand slowly in a short video. I would greatly greatly appreciate it :)

  • How the hell did she do that????

  • lol are you watching full house? ps i like the video but i think my hair is to thick.lol i have some prank calls on here my name is toodlbughaha lol im the better looking one lol with the blue shirt o and thats my friends room not mine lol

  • omg, fullll house! haha.

  • its hard to see cuzyour watching yourself do it :/ i still dont know how to do it

  • i was too distracted with full house playing lol

  • your wathing the best show ever i love u now FULL HOUSE and good video!

  • it doesnt mean ur hair is burning there is just a build up of conditioner on it use viniger it will all come out

  • i have that straightener :]

its the only thing i use to curl my hair because i suck at using curlers and rollers just plain suck. haha

oh and danny tanner is teh best

  • this tutorial is awesome! it's the only one out the many that I watched that helped. thanks so much!

  • FULL HOUSE!

  • omg yeah i have a chi and it totally sucks!

so i got a baybliss pro and it works great. but ive been wanting a solia for a while. and they are totally worth the money.

i guess it all depends on your hair type.

  • no the steam doesnt mean that its burning your hair, its actually the product burning off protecting your hair

  • Wow! The steam is making me unsure about getting this product. Is it that hot that it fries your hair? What temperature did you put it on when you curled your hair?

  • when you see all that steam or heat or whatever it doesnt mean its like burning your hair does it!?!?! lol

  • I just got my Solia flat iron today and i love it!

i tried curling with it but so far not luch :(

maybe with a little more practice who knows?

    lol

  • I just got a sedu :)

they work so much better than the chi.

My chi snapped in half .. haha

  • hey does the outside of the iron get really hot? i'd gotten the sedu, but couldn't curl my hair with it because the outside was ridiculously hot...

  • Yeah I agree, the Sedu gets really really dang hot.

The Solia gets warm on the outside, but not to where you can't touch it. It's tolerable and won't burn you. Though when you're curling your hair with it, it shouldn't really matter if the outside is hot because you don't need to touch the outside. The Solia has ridges on the tips of the iron that don't get hot at all so you can put your fingers on that part if you need to touch it.

Hope that helps! I love the Solia=)

  • i like doing this better than with a curling iron but i dont think its better for your hair ..

curling irons dont get that hot & yeahh .

  • OMG i know what full house episode that is!!!!! LOL

  • D; You saved me. I was looking for a good flat iron. I think I'm going to buy this one now.

  • FULL HOUSE !

    heh . i love that showw (:

  • I LOVE YOURR ROOM !

    aha.

i had to say that :)

  • Thank you!

    :D

  • Great vid! thanks for showing this i love the style of the curl an i'm new to curling my hair with a straightner soo thanks!

  • You're hair was burning in this video..

  • If you're referring to the steam, that's due to the moisture and product. Steam doesn't mean it's burning, it's just..steam.

  • No I meant burning.

  • I don't get it, but ok..

My hair wasn't on fire or anything..

  • I love the Solia!

  • thats sooo pretty!!!

    i rlt need that

  • ahh! i have the same straightener! XD.

    saw your answer on yahoo

  • hey do you like the solia, does it work good??

  • I use one and I think it works good but my hair doesnt seem to stay straight but thats cuz I have ringlets and to get a straightener that worked as good as the solia was wonderful! I really encourage you to get one!

  • FULL HOUSE!!!!!!

  • girl ur so adorable i will add u ok? nd em we can be friends please?

    x

  • I just ordered that straightener, I'm so excited. :P (I've been using a shitty 25 dollar one, hehe.) Your hair looks cute. :)

  • hey is it bad if the steam comes off like dat? cuz doesnt it get damaged?

  • Hey does the Light KEEP ON flickering till you turn the switch off? I bought mine today and the Red light doesn't stop flickering. I thought its only supposed to flicker for like 30seconds. And then when I try to put the temperature below 300, the light doesn't even come on. Should I get a refund? Is yours like mine too?

  • yah my flickers too, but I think that's normal (it says so on the instructions manual)

  • It does for sure. I've had mine for maybe 3 years now. It doesn't flicker while it is warming up and then the flicker indicates desired temperature is reached and it continues to flicker <3

  • the light keeps on flickering cuz it hasnt reached the temperature u kept it at when u put it below 300 it is lowering its temperature so the light stops. the light flickers when it is increasing temperature and hsasnt reached the heat yet. =D hope that helped ive had mine for 4 years.

  • Why don't you try talking a little more? You know get in touch with your audience.

  • Are you from France or a France lover? hehe

I see some towers around :)

  • I live in La, but I am planning to go to Paris when I graduate college!

    I do love it!

  • solia is a good brand =))))

  • hey im looking in to buy a hair straighenter. does anyone no a really good one out tehre?? like chi or solia or sedu?? are they good for long crurly hair? helpp!!

  • Yes Sedu and Solia are the best ones to get. Do not waist your money on a chi.

You can get a Solia on eBay for 70 dollars.

I would go with Sedu though.

  • solia is very good for your hair! it works greattt!!!!!

  • How long have you had your Solia? I'm looking to buy a new one, but I'd like it to last more than a year if possible.

  • Your Pretty! Make some more videos!

  • i love full house

  • I figured it out! ^.^ It only works if ur hair is supa straight. So after i washed it, while it was still wet i but in some straightening serum. And when i straightened it it came out SUPA Straight!1 (and thats saying something cause i have curly/wavy fluffy hair XD) So i tired curling it again and it worked! lol im smart! XD

  • are you talking about the solia?!?

    dunno

  • Yea. If your hair isnt really straight then its not gonna curl.

  • ohh

  • can u curly ur hair like that if u have short hair but not like really short

  • OMG DA CURLS CUM OUT SOOO PRETTY

  • HAHA!! Full House in the background.

    Good vid! ;)

  • i dont think ur flat iron should be steaming that much!!!

  • Cool..

I Love Ur fullhouse Show On

    LOlz

and I need To Get One Of Those

  • see i did that with my solia and it STILL didnt curl =( maybe im doing something wrong... did u use heat protector? i did maybe my solia is allergic to my heat protector??

  • lmao.

    allergic?

make sure u turn the straightener enough.

and if it still doesnt work, maybe ur hair type just wont do that.

  • lol yea i laughed after i realized what i posted too.

Yea i think thats the probably cause some parts of my hair would curl but others wont. My hair is really layered because i had it layered once, then i had a lot of brakage (sp?) too so.

  • I have a Solia and I love it!

  • haha full house!! I love that show!

  • wowo that really does work

  • i think im getting a solia

do u really think that work the same as sedu?

because sedu is too expensive !

  • Yes, I have both and I can say that they work exactly the same. Keep the extra 40 or 50 bucks and get the Solia. It's worth it.

  • hey. this looks like it works really great! i've been doing some research on Solia's because I really want one. So i was wondering if you could answer some of my questions since you have one?

1.) does it still work after the warranty is up?

2.) does your hair stay the way you style it throughout the day?

3.) does it straighten as good as everyone says?

if you could pleasee let me know.. then that would be great! (:

  • there was nothing wrong with "Full House" except for those sappy moments.

  • srry nvm, read ur description (:

  • is that the 1.25" or the 1.75"??

  • 1-1/4 = 1.25

  • OMG! you watch Full House also?

  • did u have to straighten your hair b4 u curled it??

  • Good video, your hair looks greta. One thing about the info you have...You said the CHI sucks and fries the hair. I use the CHI and it doesn't fry my hair, it only fries your hair if you don't use heat protector and if you use it too much.

  • my dad's girlfriend gave me her Solia iron and its the best flat iron i have ever had!

  • my friend had a chi and i used it and it didnt work near as well as the solia, and my hair is really long it goes all the way down to my lower back and its curly and puffy, when i use the solia its completely straight and the puff is gone and i get lots of compliments on my hair. and always make sure you put product like heat protector in b/c irons are damaging, i also use a product that adds shine.

  • yikes! why is the iron steaming!!!??

  • Moisture makes it steam. I live in humid Louisiana so there's always moisture everywhere. It's not bad on my hair though, it just is what it is I guess.

  • its means that your hair is conditioned

it isnt bad when it does that

  • your hair is gorgeous. Thanks 4 making the video. i dont think mine wil work though because its like 3 inches wide, its called "Wet to Dry"

  • that is so cool!! do u rap it around once or twice???

  • it doesn't work on me

  • It didn't on me at first either, but you do have to practice. Keep trying, you'll get it!

    =)

  • Um, actually, my sister has the Chi..I don't like it, therefore, I don't have one. And, no, I don't straighten my hair even once a week, but if I did, I can't see how that should matter to you...

  • Thanks! =)

  • very cute :)

  • I have to disagree with you.. I own a Chi Nano and it doesn't fry my hair at all and my hair is just as healthy. Chi is one of the biggest selling flat irons.. im pretty sure salons wouldnt promote it if it fried your hair.. plus you need to use heat products/flat iron products on your hair before any heat to protect it.. that would be the only reason for your hair to be fried from any flat iron.

  • Your CHI may work for you, but there have been a lot of people who had problems with the CHi (shortage, plates breaking). Also, just because it's popular doesn't mean its always great; which is a common misconception. Lastly, Chi is only a ceramic flat iron while a Solia is a Tourmaline/Ceramic iron, which has twice the benefits, and brings out the natural moisture in hair.

  • Alright but vice versa, there are alot of people who love the CHI and have had no problems what so ever so whos to say there arn't any problems with this solia iron? And I also did say that I own a Chi Nano which promotes healthy hair and eliminates bacteria in the hair leaving it silky and smooth. Also this solia is promoted in alot of salons as well so that falls back to what you said with "just because its popular doesnt mean its always great; which is a common misconception".

  • FULL HOUSE!

  • hah i was just thinking that

  • full house is on tv :) & your hair looks nice. :)

  • is it bad if you use that to straighten your hair everyday?

  • Yes, its bad. It will make your hair damage if you will do that everyday. Maybe once or twice a week is better?

  • So now you know everything?!?!?!?!?!?

  • What?

  • jeeze burning your hair much

  • i don't straighten it very often, so my hair is very healthy. that's why you get a good flat iron, so it won't burn..

  • Well, I know it steams if your hair has any moisture in it. I had sprayed it with hairspray, so that's probably why. And I always set my flat irons on the highest temp, which is 450 degrees with the Solia.

  • Thank you=)

  • I agree with you, the Solia works just as well as the Sedu :) and your hair looks nice!
