  • awesome cover!

  • i love it when he coughs lol

  • yeah, powerful song. I'm looking for a day, where this song goes to hall of fame

  • Powerful song. Even more powerful when he sang it. Get's me jumpin

  • your a fucking ass. kurt was the best thing that ever happened to the world

  • it's on the "nirvana - live at reading" live disc :)

  • Dave is my best drumer ever!

  • fucking intense

  • dave can smash some fucking drums (: nirvana is way better then foo fighters. both are good though (:

  • The Wipers are awesome!

I got to know so many great bands through nirvana!

  • dude same, they are the ones who got me into hardcore

  • gonna leave this region

    they'll take me with them

    dimension 7

  • Fucking sick Cover.

    Wipers fucking own.

  • me and my freind can play this exactly its soooo sick

  • very easy song like all punk. but great song.

  • one of the best live performene on the world. i doesnt know a band wich was better as nirvana!!!!!

  • you don't know another band?

  • по моему эту песню надо считать одной из лучших,но про неё почему-то все забывают.

  • Ya s toboy soglasen. Nirvana-moya samaya lubimaya gruppa!

  • what the fuck is going on with the people in the comments? seriously wtf...

    anyway best live version!

  • I just bought this dvd,and this performance blows my mind, freakin' awesome!

  • Have you ever listened to Emo? Fuck that shit. This is NOT Emo. Emo was around BEFORE Nirvana, anyway.

  • Emos are shitty ppl that cant deal with their problems: they dont have the balls to solve their problems or kill themselves. And they cut themselves w/o a real reason.

  • @UltraTexan Nobody knows the shit that Cobain went through okay so even if it was I think he has the right and plus He did not even make this song and you know what this song fucking owns and before you say stupid shit know what ur talking about

  • lol i think ppl now just lack the creativity that he had....he was almost like john lennon in that aspect...and he really knew the ins and outs of his guitar...i like how he made music out of just feedback on inutero. good band hopefully i can be that creative some day with my band.

  • @mutherfuckyou I know like radio friendly unit shifter waz amazing. He made me actually use more feedback in my songs. I used to hate it now i try to get it lmao

  • So what's with the cheerleader?

  • (Y)

  • come on and dance!

  • I miss You Kurt!!!!

  • todays bands are lacking interesting frontment like kurt. Not only was kurt creative but he was interesting in general. I dont know what it is about him but frontmen today dont have it.

  • Try Josh Homme from QoTSA

  • maybe its the fact most are commercial and lack passion and true emotion. i mean you get bands like you me at six and all time low who are only in the business purely because they are commercial. its sad.

  • they're carbon copies of kurt cobain

  • haha maybe they are trying to be but they still dont have the musical talent he had and thats the most important thing.

  • so fuckin kickin !!!

  • where could i hear greg sage and the wipers version?

  • It's on here. Just search for "Wipers D-7." No video (just a slide show), but it's a very good song.

Hard to compare the Wipers' studio version to Nirvana's live version, but Kurt and Dave are totally ripping shit up on here.

  • I love this song. My band and I cover it every gig

  • yea!

  • I like the original version by the wipers better.

  • what? I know the date of reading festival im just saying

  • reading festival 1992

  • half the live videos here are from reading....official dvd is coming out soon

  • thats cos it was their most kick ass gig...saw them at Reading 91, missed 92...fuck...what a difference a year makes huh?

  • Bet they kicked your ass through your throat in 91 anyway, eh?

  • Excelleeeeeent !

  • The personification of intense rage!

  • defect defect

  • great video and great song. but one thing still confuised me.... hwo the hell is the dancing guy on the stage??????

  • the grunge bez

  • the what? the grunge bez.... ok but that still doesnt explain who the hell it is?

  • Comment removed

  • it's tony ¬.¬

  • tony.... whats his family name?

  • LOL i dunno, one one of the other reding videos there like "this is tony, he dances here for us each year,,,, he still wrights all the songs"

  • lol, the dancing guy is some chode with another band, this is from Reading Festival

  • i heard about the release of this presentation in a delux edition a great idea i say this was their most exciting show ever

  • one of the best live clip i have ever seen! amazing song!!

  • RIP Kurt

  • bem-vindos ao Nirvana ...

  • The volume and sound that Nirvana put out was nothing similar to any other band, it was simply original and amazing, seems like the more i hear one of their songs the more im amazed!

  • Well this is a cover (The Wipers made the original) But they still did it dang well. I prefer this version to the original but on the other hand they covered "Return On The Rat", Also by The Wipers, And I prefer the original of that song to Nirvana's cover.

  • Cant get over how they always have a dude in the middle dancing around lol genius

  • Notorious for missing some guitar notes live was Cobain. I watched Foo Fighters live at Wembley '08 just the other day and realised I missed Cobain! Especially when Dave did 'Marigold' still a brilliant concert though.

  • this song is so wilde and the second part is agressive damn i like it

  • my fav at the moment! :)

  • nirvana for life

  • whoa!!! didnt expect pure aggresion at 3:35 never heard the song but i love it

  • me too, the first time I heard it I tought it was gonna be a calm song and when I heard the aggresive part it became one of my favorites from nirvana

  • kick ass!

  • i like the wipers original. i like greg sage's voice, but after listening to this, i like this too. i like them both. very nice.

  • agree with ya

  • THIS IS BETTER THAN THE WIPERS VERSION! (in my opinion)

  • cant wait to cover this song with my band today

    just 1 more hour!!

  • reading 4-ever!!!

  • whose the guy runing in the center?

  • i just feel like something ominous is about to happen when i hear this song

  • is he in standard cause this sounds a little dif tahn studio version.

  • Fucking Amazing!!!!!

  • Kurt Cobain and Nirvana 4ever (L):'(

  • thx for the video

  • Man I wish I was at that Reading festival :(

  • I love this oh so much <3.

    Favorite song.

  • esse show foi no brasil em 1992 hr 1992 estadio do murumbi! quem tava tava, quem nao tava perdeu,... o melhor show da vida!

  • maybe i'm already drunk this morning , but this is the best nirvana show i've ever seen; and maybe the last one that appears to be fun for all! humpty dumpty had a great fall!

  • I have this show from a entirely different camera....Its kinda neat. Id be interested in swaping videos so we could both have both.

  • do you think you could post it?

  • I actually have most of the consert, way to much work to break apart...its 19min so youtube won't let me put it up. They really need to allow people to upload longer and bigger files...MSG me on here and ill upload to sendspace for you for you to grab!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG> I LOVE KURT

  • its not supposd to sound good

  • oh my god thank u 4 this video i never seen this song live fuck yea!!!!!

  • signing is shit

  • If you guys like this song check out other Wipers songs like "Alien Boy", "Doom Town" and "Sinking as a Stone". You'll see why Nirvana loved those guys.

  • over the edge is a good wipers song to

  • holy shit.... pure, cathartic aggression

  • nirvana does the best version

  • Oh and ''Return of The Rat'' was also a Wipers song.

  • This is a great cover!

  • †激クール。

    シブい前半と後半の荒々しいパンクで有名な【D-7】。デイヴのドラムの音が、やっぱデカくて凄い。真剣に歌うカートも激クール。やはり、レディング'92 は、最高のライヴだぜ。

  • ????

  • Holy crap

  • what is this song about?

  • Yes it does remind me of Big Long Now that's because Kurt was influenced by the Wipers.

  • i dont know whether anyone knows that this is actually the wipers song nirvana just covered it

  • Everyone knows, but thanks.

  • speak for yourself ;)

    (i didn't)

  • this is a Wiper's song.....out of Portland,Oregon.

  • Does this song remind anyone else of "Big Long Now"?

  • the Dazed & Confused of Nirvana songs.

I love the slow bass line & vocals wit tha heavy drum fills behind them. amazing!

  • i like when it goes faster

  • R.I.P Kurt ...

    Anyone forget you

  • shut up moron

  • Lol, isn't that dancing guy "Flea" from Red Hot Chilli Peppers?

    Amazing song, though.

  • Nah, a guy named Tony.

  • Brilliant

  • Dude that don't even make sense. How can that be one of you favourite bands, but yet you find the music "fucking boring" ?

  • asshole

  • nirvana the greatest R.I.P. Kurt Cobain=( we lost a great band fucking courtney love just had 2 kill him and take his money yes people thats what really happened the evidence proves it but no there's no justice in are court system or any system

  • didn't he shoot himself with a shotgun?

  • That is the official story, but who knows. The discussions on Youtube alone would make anybody wonder, so I beg everyone not to go into this subject.

  • read tom grant´s investigation

  • lol the dancing guy is ridiculous

  • I've always hated that dancing guy!!!

  • tony looks so fucking cool in this video

  • uno de los mejores temas lejooos!

    aguante nirvana!

  • c du bon ca rien a redire

  • who the fuck is this other dude dancing on stage?

  • its kirst with long hair

  • THe World...is full of Shit!!!! BUT KUrt and NirVAna For me its One kind of Victory !!!its for all the Underground mouvement! thx

Sorry for my bad english !

  • straight as anarrow not so straight not so straight towards anti social gona leave this region better take me with them dimension7 cold cold morning very punk rock grunge kurts music great i feel guilty beyond words like you said in a biography i have from kurt cobain

  • wow...i recently heard about these guys covering Wipers and I was kinda cynical about it...gotta say they did a really good job! The intro is spot on and even has some extra notes thrown in and it's more reverby. The only thing I miss is the surfyness once the song gets "going." Should have thrown that major note on there! Thumbs up and all that stuff.

  • Original off Wipers album "Is This Real?". Funky ass 80's style cover, but great album.

  • i'd give anything to have seen this .

    rip <3

  • good song soul song! rip!

  • what an awesome live band...i love these guys so much

  • wow,. ive havent heard this until now but it is really good.

  • A cover (original by The Wipers)!

  • is this a cover and if so of who?

  • i have whole the concert !!

    it rocks!!

    NIRVANA 4 LIFE!!

  • me rompe la cabeza este tema loco.. aguante NIRVANA!!!

  • kurt was and is amazing.. i love his songs

  • wow all of these new live concerts being posted i love it thx posters

  • yeah!!!! NIRVANA rules!!!!!!!!!!

    Kurt Cobain forever

  • Sound quality is amazing.

I started getting into Nirvana around '94.

Helped me cope with being a teenager.

Kurt Cobain has acheived mythical status now.

Lucky bastard looked loke a god aswell and that voice. That's the rawest roar I've ever heard all the anguish. Powerful stuff!!

  • lmao, it does sound like defected salmon, which sounds like something he would say anyways. oh shit i didnt know this was a cover! and yeah he is saying dimension seven.

  • i havent heard the original but this sounds pretty cool...

i had to check the lyrics though cos his accent made it sound like defected salmon which was strange... it is dimension seven isnt it? yeah anyway sounds good....

  • AGUANTE NIRVANA CARAJO !

  • the wipers did it better.

  • nah, Nirvana's had a perfect quiet verse loud chorus.

the other one was great, but it had little diversity.

  • i disagree... i think the two versions had about the same level of diversity as far as the verse/chorus deal...

I just don't think Kurt's singing style is right for this song... I wouldn't say they ruined it but I just think the wipers are best listened to as the wipers.

matter of personal taste, though. also i'm a portlander so i do have a bit of bias for bands from my city i'll admit.

  • wow, this song is one of their best...

  • He shakes jaw when he plays solos because hes concentrating. Watch live in New York .

  • He looks to be high on something.

  • maybe he looks but Kurt was clean like a fuckin tear at this festival ,,, different situation in Rio when he was totally cracked up ... but ... in 92 he was in a seriously adiction :/ so he didn't had taken any dose of heroin to look like on high ...

  • i can't believe how great kurt was as a performer a man, guitar and mic full capacity of greatness

  • his jaws shaking probly on coke or md

  • His jaw is probably shaking because he's singing..? Or screaming, preferably.

  • ohhhh vaya este es un gran video!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THE WIPERS!!!!!!!

  • THe say that take this and dress you like him now.

  • Take this and dress you like him now.

  • Lmao, damn, you can tell he was so fucked up...

    I wish I coulda met him.. ='(

  • witch band song is this ?

  • the wipers

  • This song reminds me of how much George Bush sucked!!!

  • lmao i hate this chord

    (d7)

    get it? get it?!

  • hahahahahahahaha, dude your jokes are the shit!!!

  • So incredible!

  • el mejor cover de d7
