  • Yani 991's are ok for new type of horn.Of course if your hitting the sweet spot then everyone has their own sound going on, right.

If your looking to chase more of that classic sound centre,in my experience the Conn10m and the SBA,are the best although 10m's need some slight adjustments so you can run round them at speed.Mp set up 10m to sba slightly diff. You just want get the width with a 991 in order to develop width. width is crucial,If your not sure why ask any top j pro.eg= bergonz.

  • Hey Matt , nice sound man and timing . did you ever try and hook up a mic so you could mix your horn in with the background . Really makes a big difference on the overall sound ,, Would love to have a session in my studio with you and I could show u what I mean , I'm sure you would dig it ,, maybe add just alittle reverb to your sound also . Nice job , I can tell you have studied ! Scott

  • Thanks Scott. I'm not up with the technology yet! I know what you mean about the mic. I'll try and work out how to do it! I'm in the U.K so your studio is a bit far although I'm touring the states next year for three months.
