Built rear end, built tranny, at that time though he was still running a stock clutch lol. He wanted to get sub 10 on a stock clutch. I don't think his clutch held out though. On paper it may look like it, but I'll believe it when I see a 350z pull the times this Mach1 did with the same mods. I'm even a fan of the 350 and 370. Either way your comment is pointless for this video as there is no 350 mentioned. This vid was about a mach 1 beating a S/C cobra.
My point is about a 350z 3.5 liter V6 that out performs a Gt 4.6 liter V8 and uses less fuel. If you match it up against a Cobra that comes stock with a 4.6 liter V8 Eaton Roots typed Supercharger that produces 390hp than of course the 350z is a no match. You should match it up with the 2009 Skyline that uses the same VQ V6engine as the 350z 370z only its turbo charged and puts out 480hp.
Then later compare the relative prices of the Cobra and the skyline. The skyline costs more than $80k, for that price the Cbra could have well over a thousand hp. Stick that in your pipe rice lover.
@rclover828 i didnt see a mustang gt or a nissan 350z in this video.....so why are you here?.....you can look at the specs all you want but in the real world its a drivers race stock vs stock. they are both slow stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@rclover828 It's sort of tough to compare. Each car has their pro's and cons. One thing is for sure, if you race off a dig the Mustang is gonna win, it gonna out torque the hell of out the Z. But from a roll, it's really a drivers race.

Yeah I know:)) if a 2004 ricer like a stock Nissan 350z V6 which puts out 287hp at 3.5 litters vs 2004 Ford Mustang V8 that puts out 260hp while using 4.6 litters of gas. Now I'm not good a math but if a V6 can out perform a V8 while using less gas, than there's really something wrong with the V8. Either Ford makes really bad engine designs or the Japs are just making more faster fuel efient vehicles. Look it up before you do the hating.

I had a mach with the purge line setup through the shaker and it was sweet. Do not run it through the intake though....might have a little explosion.
