about 1 and 2, I have something to say. If a game is being ported from JPN to ENG like almost all of our games, they'd have to do it anyway. And with all the anthology and collection games they have been releasing, along with the internet. Its not that hard to identify the charecters, you just have to know where to look i.e. wikipedia and gamefaq
In battle, you press O and a direction and your character performs an attack. Follow it up and try to combo for extra damage until your branch runs out. You can also use stronger special attacks with triangle but you need a full SP bar.
It did come because of Licensing issues and they dont think that it will sell big in America because it really didnt do to well in Japan...... I STILL WANT THIS GAME THOUGH

Why this won't come out in the US:
1. Having to hire a complete new set of English voice actors to redo all the lines would take a lot of money and time.
2. There's a lot of characters in Namco x Capcom that either never made it to the US or was unpopular here.
3. I seriously doubt the number of cult support and/or niche fans who would buy this would offset the costs of marketing this game in the US.
Hey I'd like to play this too, don't get me wrong. But all those reasons = gg.

If they ever make a sequel, which a lot of us fans are waiting for, I DEFINITLY want to see Splatter House in it :D

Mitsurugi? Yeah. Taki's in it too, and Charade is an enemy character. Soul Edge appears in the game as well.

It's kinda like Valkyrie Profile if you've played that. You press O+Direction to use an attack, then continue until your Branch reaches 0.
