how do you connect the card to the tv? Can you use your graphics card or do you have to go directly form the tuner card to the tv? How can you see your other computer content(like when I am running say a video game) on your tv screen?

I've been upgrading my 5 year old Packard Bell PC with a new Mobo and the TV Tuner Card has a back 10 pin connector which used to connect to a panel on the front of the case, plus a "Y" splitter cable with 2 x 4 pin connectors .Are these important?

Yes. The video card brings the picture to your monitor. The TV card works separately to capture the TV signal.

Every new computer should come equip with a tv tuner card, but too bad it doesn't. If they do that, then lots of people (including me), will use the pc for surf the internet... and watch tv at the same time. And probably lots of people will not buy a tv to watch tv. Then those tv manufacturer will suffer. It is a low and cheap tactic that they use.
