  • Beautiful performance.

What is the name of the song?

Can anyone provide me info please?

  • To piper84: I pity you young man. You've neither the maturity nor wisdom to appreciate those who endeavor to perform live music on stage, especially acapella. You call yourself a piper but apparently an untalented one or you postings here wouldn't be so dower. I don't know if it's from a low self-esteem or you've super-sized ego that leads you into thinking you're good enough to comment; either way, I'd pay to go see them than waste the fuel to go to a free concert of yours, hack.

  • Adorable!!!

  • The Welsh adored them

  • at the beginning of this video, when the girl is talking, is she speaking english? I caught a few english words, but I couldn't tell... the scottish culture is so beautliful! I am amazed at the pride that you guys all have for your culture, country, and heritage!

  • The first few words was part of the introduction which was in Gaelic and then she provided a translation in English.

  • very very nice. they synchronize beautifully. i give them 4 stars

  • If it were possible to die of cuteness and beautiful singing, this video would have finished me.

  • Listening to this makes me feel like I'm in gaelic heaven! I think the girls, all of them, are cute and their voices lovely. Good job girls and thx to Stifyn for posting.

  • i mostly agree, but i think the first one would give me a bad night.

  • @thebifffster Gaelic Heaven is it?? Well now many years ago I was having a wee dram with my father at the hotel in Gairloch and a man came in explaining how he had traveled the world trying to phone God. The prices ranged from $12 billon in NY to 100 Billion in London and so on. We sat the poor man down and gave him a glass of the water of life and then handed him a sixpence saying you away to the phone and call God. 6d (P) he stammered? Aye, mun, its a local call from here.

  • You sound like her little sister on the warpath.

I delighted pulling the same stuff on my older sisters.

  • wow i was in north america last year and i was watching these native american tribeswomen singing something eerily similar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yupp, it's Bheir mi Sgriob do Thobair Mhoire

  • wow, beautifully sung. I've wanted to find this song for ages, it's great that the first time I find it it's so well sung. Now all I have to do is find the lyrics...

You don't know the name of th song, do you?

  • Great job on the singing, gals seem a little struck with stage fright, great video...

  • crappy sound quality, but absolutely beautiful voices.

  • Seems like some people can't handle critisism.

  • Actually you should just learn to work for money.

Being superstar is not everything in life BTW.

  • That comment above Alexmcgruer3 was mean to be from a completely different video btw....

  • to the idiot mairikeir shut up and stop trying to be smart.

  • I think Mairikeir about has it.The ladies are grand.

  • Idiot, aye?

Auch, it's just a shame you can't even use capital letters, mate.

For something that's "nothing wow", how come it's in your favourites?

Also, I'm still waiting to see a video of your superstardom.

  • To thepiper84 fella:

And where are you in a youtube video on stage in an international competition?

After winning trophies in Ireland and Wales as well as Scotland?

    Aye, thought as much.

  • It's fine.

I visit Nova Scotia (the province of Canada that Cape Breton is tied to,) I am sure the good people of Cape Breton and the rest of Canada are proud you are emulating their styling. Parts of Cape Breton are more Scottish than Scotland. Kind of like my new home Newfoundland. "Irish" That culture is secure around our Southern and Cape shore.

Keep it up girls, it's easy to be critical; but hard as hell to take it and play anyway. You are great!

  • to stifyn i'm entitled to my opinion.

  • Of course you are. Its just that I noticed you posted one critical comment only to come back 12 hours later and have another bash. Seems you have a personal grudge against the group or an individual in the group. That is my opinion of your opinion.

  • And who cares about you're opinion of my opinion.

  • also it's easy to cover any mistake you make on stage when you have other people sing with you.

  • What is your grudge against these people and why are you knocking them? If "there`s nothing wow in that" and with your other critical remarks, anyone would assume this is crap in your eyes. Yet I note you have marked this as one of your favourites???

  • Hehe, at least we can see some people don't have good taste. Thank you for putting this vid online by the way! I'ts great! "thepiper84" says his opioions and I respect that but, they don't need to be this harsh on people :). Thank you for this vid! You've opened my eyes to other talent! Thank you again!

  • there's nothing wow in that. Anyone can learn to sing by repeating the song over and over.

I am a fluent gaidhlig speaker from skye.

  • the piper heh? crack pipe?

  • How can people sound soo good on stage??? When I'm on stage I always freeze :-(! This is GREAT!! *****!!! This is a real performance! *****

  • Gaidhlig has been in decline for years but the signs are that its fighting its way back, we have 2 Gaidhlig medium schools in Scotland, one in Glasgow the other in Inverness. And the Scottish Government has increased the budget for Gaidhlig to £7.5 million.

  • I hope you are right. The growth in Welsh medium schools in anglicised parts of Wales has been incredible but most of the children do not use it out of school. Similar thing in Ireland and the language is only in everyday use in the Gaeltacht. Investment is needed in Western Isles to keep young people there to keep the language alive in Scotland.

  • I hope so too, investment and also affordable housing is needed. I dont need to go into why, its well known and greatly similar with Wales.

  • where can i find that on mp3?

  • I can send you it?

  • fucking awsome. EUROPEAN DREAM,WE BETTER DEAD THAN DEAD

  • Awesome! Keep at it, girls!

  • Erin Go Bragh - Ireland Forever

  • Well, they're Scottish actually...

  • lol Not quite...

  • I am an American, but I AM PROUD TO BE AN IRISH-SCOT! My ancestors lived in Scotland before moving to Ireland, and then they moved here to the states. I too would hate to see the language die. Keep up the good work ladies.

  • That's beautiful. Those girls should be proud of how well they sound. It was really delightful to hear.

  • i think i know one of them from barra the bloned one at the start

  • Haha, yeah that would be ali :)

    And we are very proud...

  • Nice!

  • i hope to see it alive

  • Beautiful language, would hate to see it die (and I`m English!)
