It's 8 boxes for one Ultrajet. Don't give him any more than that until you buy (or steal it out of the footlocker) the 1 ultrajet he has or he will keep the extra boxes. I put my extras in a nearby box on the shelf in his room and his asshole bodyguard gets up, walks over and takes one out! Now I put them in the Nuka Cola Machine in the bathroom area. Don't think their scripts will allow them to leave their room. Just make sure you only have 8 in your inventory each time when u trade them.

lol! good one, well... 8 minutes in game would be something like 4 to 6 hours in the fallout world. which lasts longer than the 30 min to an hour jet high!
