lots of thumbs up... so that's why so many replies to me. on the subject, i am not one to settle with glaring flaws. there is a company that makes a curved seamless display. however it is very thick and has a crappy resolution. yet people compromise instead of waiting for something like an oled display that is a flexible technology that can be made to do what a few companies have attempted to do but have had to cut a few corners to do so. sure the display in this video is ok but why settle?

As far as the monitors go, they are NEARLY seamless, at least from this perspective, but from the driver's perspective (which I'm sure the side monitors are aimed at where the driver's eyes might be), I'm sure it looks much better.

The issue I have with these type of displays, is the lack of control over the outer screens. At 0:14 look at the white wall with the Mobil logo, it's bends downward at the screen edges. The wall should remain straight at all times, but the computer assumes that the outer screens are flat and not at all angled away from the center screen. The screen should have built in software to compensate for this. Even a line starting at the center of your vision and going past your peripheral is straight.

that's probably to do with the viewing angle of LCD screens from the fixed position it is filmed at. I doubt you would notice it in use.
