i was at this concert. it was my first big rock concert. got searched at the gate. good thing they didnt find my "marijuana cigerette" in my back pocket. when i lit it up, some security chick walks over and asks me to plz put out my "special cigerette". i just laughed and agreed. so i went and found a bunch of hippies, walkd about 20 feet from them and fired it back up. when security came this time they went by me and walked to the hippies. and thats how u get away with smokin at a show. decoys
@bobby6900 Well I don't think its a rip off to see a music icon. Sure his voice is not as strong as when he was 30, but I'm sure you won't sound any better when your 70. Check out his new album, I think you will be suprized how well he sings on it.
@bobby6900 The 150 dollars I spent to see Paul in Detroit this past summer was worth it. It's no rip off. Paul's voice may not be as strong and solid like it was during the 60s or 70s and even in the 80s but he still sounds good even at 69. I listened to Paul's upcoming album and he sounds wonderful. He still has a voice. Sounds to me that you don't like Paul though. Then why are you here? Go bash Paul on the Beatles Hate videos instead of here.
@bobby6900 ...aka 'StudioCOnline'...After seeing one of your vids, I find it hilarious that you refer to Paul as an 'old geezer.' Robert Metcalf = No spring chicken, either! :D Oh, and Paul could probably sprint circles around you!!
I saw the Beatles at Shea (see my name?!) in 1966. I was lucky enough to see Paul in August 2011. It was my childhood all over again! I sang every song, never forgetting any of the words. He's so rich he doesn't have to leave his bed, yet he still tours! Thanks.
This I may say when we write the first letter of Beatles in small caption it is b and Wings it is w. Write it upside down together it will become the initial of James Paul McCartney, pm. Paul McCartney you rock our planet. Thanks for your music.
after i saw this concert i decided i could die the next day and it wouldn't matter because i saw paul freaking mccartney. my life = complete. only took 15 yearssss....
I WENT TO THIS CONCERT!!! I WAS THERE!! OH MY GOD!!!! I'm 12 years old and Paul came on and I yelled "OH MY GOD THERE HE IS!!!" and I was BAWLING MY FREAKING EYES OUT!! I passed out for a few seconds!! This was my first concert!!! Paul McCartney you are amazing!!!!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
This was an amazing concert even though I was back in the seats. I'm 29 and I've never seen the Beatles or Paul in concert and I've like them since I was about 14. There was a definite feeling in the crowd. I cried at all the memorial songs!
don't be ashamed to admit to crying lol .....me , my boyfriend and the guy sitting next to us .....we all cried !!!! all three of us are 48. not many can say they got to see Sir Paul !!! But we did , and we will never forget it . An older women came up to me after the show , she had her grandaughter with her ........they thanked me for making their nite so much fun.......evidently my dancing and singing got the crowd goin in section 524 !!! alright !!!
i went to both yankee stadium concerts and this one.every performance was beyond excellence. nothing i've attended comes close to his shows and that includes hendrix.. just imagine what it would sound like if the other three lads were with him
I'm sitting here watching again and tearing up as well! I've thought about this every day since the concert-I'm 50 and also wasn't prepared for my reaction.I'll never forget it.
I was there but sat way up high, I didn't get to see him up close like this. I am seriously sitting here crying watching this. Thanks for the great video.
i am a HUGE paul mccartney and BEATLES fan, but i gotta say... i was not prepared for my reaction when this song started off the concert. i am a 49 year old man and I ALMOST CRIED!!! like a teenage girl at a bieber concert i choked up out of the blue. it was almost a religious experience. thanks josh
I was in 132 and took some videos I posted on here from my cell phone. What an AMAZING concert and almost a week later still on an emotional high from seeing him in concert! Oboeman, thank you for posting this. I have watched this several times as this was an exciting, emotional way to start almost 3 hours of music history. Thank you!
@swain737 I guess I should have known but I was not prepared for how good this show was . I didn't give the man enough credit . I know he is an incredible songwriter and has charisma like no other but I didn't expect 3 hours of balls out rock and roll performed like a band who actually has something to prove . The sound in the ballpark was incredible and that was a surprise to me also . Great gig I will never forget it
I was in the section to the right of you! I was a little surprised because the section that I was in was 150$ and It was right next to the middle section which was 300$! But hey, it's Paul McCartney. Great concert.
I'm so glad you got this one. I was in 516 and could only get a tiny image of Paul on my camera. Well, I couldn't believe the whole thing. Here is this guy who I've listened to my whole life right in front of me. It's almost like a dream come true.Next time, I'm getting better seats, I don't care what I have to pay. He's worth that and then some!
You're the first that I've seen who got close shots of Paul without going to the large projection screen. Great job.
With Beatles in mind, I've posted the video, "40 years in 3 minutes", which is a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance, historical events over the last 40 years and 8mm film antics from the period, all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!

doing a lot of zooming, it usually becomes so unstable. Great job.
