I don't care if someone says the other is better lyrically, punchlines, or rhyming. i cant say which one is better than the other even though i listen to Pac more but have Nas's Illmatic, part of stillmatic and Hip Hop is Dead Albums. Tupac is like a father 2 me through his music, even at 16 and he died when i was about 1 old school/underground is what I listen 2.

i really can't explain it but even if stillmatic was a great album it doesn't touches me on such a level like illmatic does. the flamboyant lyrics, the getto raunchyness, the laid-back style... they all add up to portray this young man who through the magic of the word reaches out and makes me aknowledge and care. only pac and nas succeded in that.

Illmatic is sick from track one to 10! I wont lie and say that I dont like his newer LP's (Stillmatic & God's Son to name a few) but he came in to the game like fire. This is my favorite track by far! I cut for that Michael Jackson (Human Nature) sample, too.
