  • mars

  • In case you are wondering, the lyrics are referring to Mars.

  • everytime i hear this, i see a vast army in a distant field

  • Elizabeth's voice is heaven and really sounds like that all the time!

  • Was listening to my library and noticed something. While the lyrics are different it may be a tribute to Vangelis's 1975 Albedo 0.39. That song refers to Earth, so Cretu may have chosen a different celestial body so as to make it unique to Enigma.

  • Either way its a phenominal intro to a album, while still keeping the essence of the "classic" Enigma intro.

  • Was the celestial description lifted from something else or are "lyrics" original? Would be interested to see if this was sampled from something.

  • 1:37

  • can somebody please tell me what the orchestra at the end is originally from? or the full orchestral version?

  • @TheNipommu Carl Orff - Carmina Burana

  • In the begining sounds like a interspatial port, or somethings like sci-fi movie

  • Thank you Uploader, for putting all the music from this CD on Youtube, I have this CD somewhere but I can't find it. I should just download all the music.

  • the ending part is: "O Fortuna, velut Luna, statu variabilis"

  • @joaorcosta Do you know the translation? I know it's Latin.

  • @FURY1958 you can find it very easily in the web...

  • why is Silence must be heard a response to Camera Obscura? You don't like Camera Obscura? It's my fave song on this, my fave. album of Enigmas.

Obscura, would tho, have been banned at my catholic school because those nuns would have hated that marvelous driving beat. And driving beats were verboten since it made your heart rate go up and got you all titillated. HAHA. Those nuns, glad I'm gone from there.

  • if only all science could sound as sexy!

  • This is the greatest soundtrack to a sci-fi film that does not yet exist. Absolutely love it.
