This is Marcos's first full year, and going into Atlanta he still had a mathematical chance at making the Chase. Scott Speed drove the 82 right out of the top 35 in the first 6 races of the season and has kept it there all year long. He's a self-centered wanna be euro. He will be gone at the end of the year. Allmendinger is running highly inferior equipment than Speed is...Speed should be kicking his ass just because of equipment....at least until RPM gets the new Dodge engines like Penske has. Even now allmendinger is holding his own and not a nuisance on the track that Speed is.

Kahne barely counts. Yeah he's an RPM car but he's also the ONLY RPM car with the luxury of having the new Dodge Engine like the Penske cars have. Allmendinger, Sadler, and Sorensen are running the old Dodge engine but all 4 cars should be using the new engine by August.

That's a whole another thing too. The Dodges flat out suck. Especially compared to the Toyotas. Vickers is sitting pretty high up in points too.
